RUNNERS UP

11 Free Comic Book Day 2026: Dungeon Crawler Carl #0 – Yoshi Yoshitani – Jetpack Comics
Dungeon Crawler Carl might be one of the hottest IP’s on the planet currently. Within a few weeks, it was announced that the wildly popular book series was set for its 8th outing, was getting a TV show on Peacock led by Seth McFarlane, a potential movie, and yes, a comic series debuting for FCBD! Some retailers, like Jetpack Comics, had an exclusive version to distribute, and hot dang, did they! The aftermarket snagged them up in a hurry, and they were online before anyone could blink. Now, more and more fans are happy on the DCC train as the IP continues to draw attention and new fans! We tracked 25 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 100%, with a high sale of $19 for an NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $16.

12 Marvel Super-Heroes Secret Wars Vol 1 #8 – Direct
While Avengers: Doomsday is very much a topic of discussion, some fans are already looking beyond. Rumors, images, fan casts, and leaks galore are populating the internet regarding the next Avengers film, Avengers: Secret Wars. The title of the film shares the title of the book, but what fans are really diving into, especially for this issue, is Spider-Man’s black suit. It debuted here, it’s what fans attribute it to, and dang, they’re eager to see it. Rumors are flying that we may see it in Brand New Day, or Doomsday, or Secret Wars, but the sentiment is we’re getting it regardless. Some fans are picking them up in a hurry before that potentially comes to pass. We tracked 29 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 1% with a high sale of $620 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $166.

13 Lost Fantasy #1 – Luca Casalanguida – Regular
This series has been steadily building a fandom thanks to its killer story and art. It got an influx of attention when Katt Blanchette’s first comic cover art on issue #9 hit the aftermarket, and even more when Fireborn hit the LCS shelves last month. Lost Fantasy is gaining traction, and many fans are circling back around to secure the first issue in the series they are growing to love. We tracked 23 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 4% with a high sale of $57 for an NM+ copy and a current raw NM FMV of $40.

14 The Boys #1 – Darick Robertson – Regular
Crazy, that seven years ago, the public got their first taste of The Boys on Amazon. That quickly blew up into a worldwide phenomenon, but now, like all things, it’s drawing to a close. As of writing,g the finale is right around the corner, with the series diverting significantly from the written works. Still, the show brought a ton of fans into the comic world as they chased this book down over the years. Now, ow at the close, there are still fans eager to secure the first issue and debut of the Boys! We tracked 10 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 9% with a high sale of $360 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $85.

15 Invincible #110
This is a heavy issue. We won’t get into specifics here, but this issue specifically causes a lot of discussion amongst the fandom. Prime has its hands full going into next season, as it’s a delicate subject that needs to be handled carefully. However, it’s one of the few “key” books remaining from the original run that hasn’t been covered in the show, and doesn’t feature a major first appearance. BUT, this issue may hold more impact on the story going forward than any other. Collectors are securing it now, before it really becomes a topic of conversation next year, IF Prime goes through with it. We tracked 10 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 6% with a high sale of $365 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $199.

16 Absolute Batman #15 – Nick Dragotta – Regular
This issue caused a ton of conversation when it dropped! It features the first full appearance of the Absolute Joker in his true demonic form. It divided the community a great deal, but it has gotten quiet as the story has played out. Now, fans are seeing this side of the Joker once again, so they’re snagging a few copies of his debut, while some of the conversation has shifted elsewhere. We tracked 15 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 6% with a high sale of $65 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $15.

17 Absolute Batman 2025 Annual #1 – Daniel Warren Johnson – Regular
We got the origin of the behemoth that is the Absolute Bat Mobile, which is getting some renewed spotlight, but most grabbed this issue for the killer Daniel Warren Johnson cover, and the beating down of white supremacists within. This issue was a major deal when it dropped, considering Batman massacred a whole Klan of klannsman, most gratuitously. It caused a lot of discussion and continues to do so, but fans are here for it and want to add this issue to their PC! We tracked 12 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 6% with a high sale of $80 for a CGC 9.8 copy and a current raw NM FMV of $23.

18 Free Comic Book Day 2026: Dungeon Crawler Carl #0 – Shea Hardacre – Revenge Of Comics And Pinball (Limited 2000)
As mentioned, Dunger Crawler Carl has been one of the hottest IP’s on the planet, and FCBD was his big comic book debut (mostly). It was many fans’ introduction to the world of DCC, and they had to fight tooth and nail to get their hands on it. This book was sold out everywhere leading up to the event, with many collectors opting to secure exclusive, limited variants such as this one. This Shea Hardacre outing is outstanding, and several fans with deep pockets made it part of their PC. We tracked 7 copies sold, at a 7-day growth trend of 2% with a high sale of $250 for an NM copy and a current raw NM FMV of $204.

19 Absolute Batman #19 – Muju Monster – Trinity Comics – Negative Gold Foil (Limited 899)
While this book features the first appearance of Absolute Scarecrow, Slade Wilson, and the Robins, many picked up this book specifically for its cover. For years, this book has been landing on our lists, and fan excitement has swelled and abated. Now, it’s finally upon us, and a few fans are squeaking out Lobo’s debut before the movie hits.
