It has leaked out that one of the characters dies in the movie. We noted the funeral scene the other day. So we do know at least one character will pass on.

I do think this is a bit of a red herring. Peggy’s death would not be an event to start Civil War. She was born in 1921 as the program says. She would be dang near 100 years old. So to me, I think there will be more important deaths coming up.

I think you nailed it. Seems more like a red herring for sure.
Probably a quick opening scene where Cap is at her funeral because well, she is old.. they do seem to start these movies off on a different note, then quickly jump into the main storyline. 🙂
