Grimm Fairy Tales is one of the best selling independent series ever. They have launched a ton of spin offs, some did well, some not so much. Their most recent release, GFT Presents Oz has sold out at the distributor level and will be getting a reprint. Issue number 1 had a print run of 30,000 copies. The book was actually a pretty cool retelling of The Wizard of Oz, and does feature Zenescope’s trademark sexy covers. The art on the interior is pretty good too.

any news on Watson and holmes #2
It should be out the third week of August, August 21st to be exact.
I just saw it in my local comic shop this past Wednesday.
Being sold out at the distributor level does not mean it is sold out in stores. It means that the stores cannot order any more 1st print copies.
Watson and Holmes #2 is already out…I picked one up at a local shop on wednesday (8/14)
So, is the Oz book worth picking up?
I liked the first issue. The story is pretty good, the art is nice. Zenescope books have performed well on the secondary market.
The Oz series is great – amazing artwork. Watson & Holmes #2 is available – I still have copies of all 3 covers available
