I tried to warn you, but with news that Peter Parker returned in issue #30, the stores quickly went into re-order mode and snatched up all the remaining copies of Superior Spider-man #30. TFAW is sold out. Midtown has copies but are limiting them to 1 per customer. Mycomicshop.com has copies with no limit.

I snagged a couple copies. What do you recommend for resale? Is this the first time Peter has died and come back?
Yeah, I do believe this is the first death for Peter. I kinda have a funny thing about calling it a death as his actual body was still alive. The book flew under the radar and no one knew of the return until yesterday.

I would list this weekend. Prices haven’t jumped yet.
Yeah, I see a few trying to bump the price to $9.95 or a little higher but doesn’t seem like anyone’s biting yet since you can still find it at retail at your local shop, seems amazon has some left as well, etc.
character returns don’t usually have a huge upside. The post above it correct, they do not retain value either. It’s actually a decent read though, I would sell raws now or fast track to cgc and flip the 9.8s.
The main problem is that SSM #27 sold 86k and SSM #28 sold 75k. This is hardly a scarce book.
Scarce, no, but potentially a little more valuable, sure if the demand is there. There could be a million of them, if 2 million want a copy, the price goes up.. 😉
Very true. And everyone was expecting Petey to come back in issue #31…I was going to speck harder on the last issue of superior. Might have to get a few more copies.
Yea, I can get a boat-load here in the UK right now, but I’m going to hold off to see what it does. Any variant covers, or anything like that?
Yea, like shima said, there’s probably close to 80k of these books out there, just not scarce enough for value, is it????????????

Spider-man #700 had print run of 250,000 and still sold out and had 4 printings. It went up in a value a bit as well. Anything is possible. 80,000 of Superior #30 is a much smaller print run for those who plan to read the Spider-man #1 which will have a massive print run next month. So its possible ….
All my local shops seem to be completely out of SSM #30 now..
Mycomicshop still has these for cover, but limit 2 per order. Midtown has em too, but limit 1. Everyone else online is pretty much wiped out. I’ll swing by a couple LCS’ this weekend to see if there are any in stock
I just looked on ebay and there are already some that are selling for $5-$12 plus shipping.
I did say wait for the weekend to see if there was a price bump as people made runs on the store.
Yup, before I noticed my local shops were out, I already secured around 6 copies just for grins. We’ll see if they heat up or not, I’ll dump’em if they do start to climb.

Went to Trade Smart (aka Hastings) and an LCS, only 1 copy to found.
I’m testing the waters.. I listed one starting at $4.99 auction… I see some going for up to $10 or so in auctions so we’ll see how I do.
