Sneak Peek Preview – Crossover #1 from Cates and Shaw

The creative powerhouses behind the bestselling, critically acclaimed GOD COUNTRY, Thanos Wins, and REDNECK returns for the biggest launch of the year. Imagine everything you thought was fantasy…was real. And now join us, in a world where reality is dead…and anything is possible…

Crossover #1 hits shelves this coming Wednesday and with it’s numerous variants and ratios along with store exclusives, here’s your sneak peek preview.

It’s a good read. Don’t go heavy though as there’s going to be plenty around. I will say maybe buy an extra copy or two though. Reader copy + stash away copy. Cates past Image books have done well on the secondary but they’re long term gambles and this one will have the biggest print run so far since Donny’s rise to fame for his Marvel work..

I used high resolution images to keep quality so you’ll have to excuse the multiple pages to keep page load times down.

  1. I hope it lives up to the hype! Big fan of all Cates older stuff and early Marvel work! Reuniting with Shaw, the artwork is incredible, and from all I’ve read, it’s going to be good! Must have been 30+ exclusives! The Last Ronin is also a book I’m expecting a lot from, with 60+ exclusives, I’m really hoping these books really stand up to the hype! Keep it lit?? Have a Horrific Halloween!

      1. Rob, I do a bit of writing and I know Cates from the indie days and he always wanted to do everything, I guess I meant Buzzkill, Paybacks, God Country, Rednecks, and then Marvel just really made it as if every issue is a must have, which I believe the story arcs on venom have become long, drawn out, new characters popping up left and right, or rather different versions of preexisting characters. Cates is great, but there’s so much talent out there, and a lot has changed in four years in my opinion, not just with Cates’ work, but with the industry as a whole; just my humble opinion.
