Bleeding cool ran an interesting tid bit today.
The first appearance of Joker’s Daughter is in tomorrows Catwoman #23. The 3-d DC book coming out is already going for $20 plus on Pre-order. If this character becomes hot as her daddy, you can expect this to go for big bucks too. According to Diamond, retailers are swooping in to get more copies. This should rank the book high on the reorder list.
We will just see how the 3D covers do on this one.

Duela Dent used the name Jokers Daughter and her first appearance was in Batman Family #6 a Bronze age book. If this version is a different person then it will be an original first appearance.

Well it’s the new 52 Joker’s Daughter. Like the golden age two face is different than the modern one. New 52 equals new character and a new first appearance.

Right. I now assume no one is reading this. Okay, you may have noticed that there have been eBay sales of the 3D cover of Dark Knight #23.4 Joker’s Daughter #1 hitting over $30 on eBay.
It’s the hottest book of DC’s Villain’s Month in September.
And the character’s first appearance is on the last page of Catwoman #23, out tomorrow.
I understand that, as we speak, certain tipped off retailers are cleaning Diamond out of any overprint…
UPDATE: No more copies are currently available from Diamond. That was quick.

Wow….I didn’t even know about this until today. Can’t wait till tomorrow.
Already selling for 10$ on Ebay. Sold out on the major online retailers. Was able to grab 7 just incase this comic blows up further… you never know. Better get to your LCB shop if you want one.

Hitting then shops I the am. Early bird gets the comic. I hope anyway. I didn’t preorder none at all. My loss. I got a nice score on The Outliers #1 though. 10 copies of those. I’m holding on to those though.
Well im always first at my LCB store, I will definitely be picking up a few copies. I am very happy with this website. Thank you guys so much for the information you provide. I used to have to do so much research in store or online and still continue speculate with previews magazine, but again thanks for the help.

I’m trying to get a Batman Family #6 into my own collection. A VF+ copy is hard to find on ebay (or anywhere else for that matter). It is the first appearance of ‘Joker’s daughter’ or Duel Dent. This new Joker’s daughter can be said to be a legacy character? Not sure? I see BatFam#6 heating up. If you want to see how hot the character of Duela Dent is, see her in her steam punk glory as an Ami Comi figurine…going for about $170.00 plus on ebay. One of the most demanded DC ame comi figurines out there.

I went ahead and grabbed a VF copy of Batman Family #6 (1975), as I think the release of Catwoman #23 may garner some interest for the ‘BRONZE AGE’ 1st appearance of The Joker’s Daughter (Duela Dent)!
We’ll see. I didn’t pay a great deal for BF #6, as I found a nice buy from a shop in Australia that had a really nice VF copy. I’m not sure he’s aware of the New 52 appearance of the Joker’s daughter, but alas, we must do these things to try and stay ahead of the power curve!
I’m not really a flipper, so I’ll just add it to my collection. I’m not really a DC guy either, but a ‘potential’ hot book is a potential hot book!
Anyway, if anyone gets wind of heat for the Bronze Age BF #6, please post!

Your fault…it’s almost 1am here in the UK, and I just had another quick look at my UK supplier list and noticed that one of them had a VF copy of Batman Family #6 for sale for 19 GBP (approx 25 bucks)! Yea, I snatched it up!
Also, I’ve noticed that this book (BF #6) wasn’t distributed in the UK…not sure of the significance there, but info is king!
@Dakoit So now, just by reading your ‘DESIRE’ to add this book to your collection, I’ve spent ‘unintended’ cash for 2 VF copies of BF #6! This book better heat up FOR YOUR SAKE….just joking (get it…Joker’s Daughter…don’t mind me, I’m tired and delirious…SAY NIGHT-NIGHT ALICE…NIGHT-NIGHT ALICE)!

Oh ya UKpondside…I got two copies of Catwoman 23 from a comic store in my area no one really goes into. Pretty lucky. My home comic shop ran out. I don’t get CW as a regular pull.
In my area Catwoman #23 are still in stock. I guess no one is really into it. I picked up a few more to push them online

I was able to only move 9 of at $9 a copy. I stayed with 2 of them. Not much, but I’m happy.

Yea, I spek’d hard on this one! I’m at 14 copies now, with one of my suppliers getting together 10 more for me. Actually, I forgot to call him back today to check the status of that order.
As far as BF6, I posted somewhere about BF9 as well. I’ll try and find it, and re-post…may be relevant now that BF6 has a bit of heat.

A few of the retail sites that I have seen all seem to mention a MOVIE when they are talking about BF6. Are they referring to the proposed Batman movie that will star Ben Afflick? Or is there more spek BF6 news that need to be uncovered? Just curious.
