Image’s Ghosted Pulls Hat Trick with Third Straight Sell-Out

Ghosted #3, written by Joshua Williamson and drawn by Goran Sudzuka, has sold out at the distributor level. This is the third straight sell-out for this hit new series and Ghosted #3 will be reprinted to meet demand in October.
Williamson and Sudzuka have clearly struck gold with their supernatural heist comic, in which a team of thieves are tasked with stealing a ghost from a haunted mansion. Since debuting from Image Comics imprint Skybound in July,

Issues of Ghosted can be ordered HERE and you can also get 1st Prints still available on Amazon

Ghosted has seen massive sell-outs and rave reviews:
“This is by far Sudzuka’s best artwork to date. He’s the kind of guy you dream about drawing your comic because he gets every last panel right.”
– Joshua Yehl, IGN

“Ghosted is quickly becoming one of my favorite series. It’s a fantastic concept that has really been delivering the past few months. Writer Joshua Williamson has a great book here, and with the combine creative talents of Goran and Miroslav, this is a book that everyone should be reading. It’s different, in the best way possible. Overall, I highly recommend this book and this series.”
– Mat Elfring, ComicVine

“Williamson and Sudzuka’s Ghosted succeeds by taking a couple of very familiar (and pretty in vogue) genres and mixing them up. There’s a little bit of horror, a little bit of Hoax Hunters paranormal procedural structure going on, and a whole lot of heist movie flair to tie it all together. With a balanced cast of characters and a pacing that never stays in one place for too long, Ghosted freshens up a bunch of things that we’ve seen in plenty of comics before.”
– Vince Otrowski, Multiversity

The Second Printing of Ghosted #3 can be pre-ordered now (Diamond Code AUG138198) and will be in stores on 10/16. Ghosted #4 arrives in stores on 10/9.

  1. This is a refreshing series. If you haven’t given it a try yet I suggest you do immediately…..it’s a very entertaining read!

  2. I have been ‘picking up’! I will eventually read the series. I currently have X9 1st print #1’s (and have my eye on 6 more), and will get equal amounts of #2 and #3 (1st prints of course).

Same as Comicflipper, I knew this title would become an industry darling, so I started stashing early! Just based on the content, I can easily see this movie being a huge hit, WITH A FEW SEQUEL’S!

Anyway, I think I’ll get on with gathering my copies of #2 & #3, and put this set on my pull list for 15 copies each! I think that should be enough (15 full set runs)…

  3. UK Ponside, you are hardcore! I got one copy of #1 and loved it! I didn’t think it would catch on as we also had ‘Five Ghosts’ by Image as well. BOTh books were getting acclaim for both art and story. I thought it would a matter of comic confusion. I’ll try to hunt more Ghosted#1’s down, I think some stores still have some here!
Ebay price for Ghosted #1, still many at cover (+ shipping) grade NM.

    1. Yeah, if there ends up being a show or movie based on it, it might then take off but I can still find first prints at my local shops.

      1. And with that in mind, I snagged some more 1st prints today as they were running low and had mainly 2nd prints of 1 and 2 with just a handful of #3 available.

  4. @COMIC LORD & DAKOIT Hey, thanks guys, but I’m just a speck’er like everyone else here! I just want to say thanks to all the folks who make these blogs possible…COMICFLIPPER & DAKOIT! Without the head’s up, we wouldn’t be able to nail a few issues BEFORE they heat up. Now, a lot of people out there speculate and spread rumors, but these guys (flipper and dakoit, among others who contribute to this site) are SPOT ON with their specs, folks! THEY KNOW THIS BUSINESS! The greatest thing is the fact that THEY ARE WILLING TO SHARE THEIR HARD WORK WITH STRANGERS HERE ON THEIR BLOG! Great stuff guys, and I’m sure I speak for the whole spek community here, WE APPRECIATE IT!

Keep up the EXCELLENT WORK guys!
