Looks like the non-enhanced, 2d cover, has sold out at Diamond. Now this does not mean that you will not be able to find it on your stores shelves, but speculators, fans, and everyone else, might just snatch up the regular covers to this already hot title.
Just got late word that they may not be sold out yet. They appeared sold out yesterday but now getting word that there are 12,000 copies sitting on Diamond available for order. Will cover this more once more news is available.
Definitely pick up a 2d and sell it with a 3d if you’re fortunate to find both. It’ll make your sale more appealing to buyers.

Yea, I’m going to jump on board with the Joker’s Daughter! I have said NO to the 3d gimmick covers so far. Didn’t waste my money on the over-hyped 3d non-sense covers. I was in the game in the 90’s when all the gimmick covers were all the rage, but NONE of them held their value because they were mass produced for one purpose only…MAKE A MILLION JUST BECAUSE OF THE GIMMICK COVER!
Most of the reads were horrible…
Anyway, I’m on board with the Joker’s Daughter because I think this one will have sustainability throughout the industry. ‘She’ has a nice secretive past, and now they can take her in any direction they want. I don’t think it really matters if ‘She’ is Duela Dent or not, as long as they keep the MONIKER as: ‘The Joker’s Daughter’, AND they don’t come up with some far-fetched origin story that just doesn’t work, I think there’s a place in the industry for THE JOKER’S DAUGHTER!!!!!!!!
So yea, I’m going to get as many of these (and regular covers) as I can.
I have my UK suppliers on standby, and we’ll see what happens next Tuesday night…hehehehehhe why wait until Wednesday, when everyone else are breaking down the doors at your LCBS…THE BOOKS ARE ALREADY IN THE CBS, AS THE OWNER HAS TO GET THEM PREPARED FOR THE WEDNESDAY ONSLAUGHT!

UKPondside. Exactly what I’ve been saying. Hence BF#6 as a solid longtern investment (if you find cheap). I have mine finally! I’ll try for some Joker’s Daughter 3-D’s, but with all the hype and the scarcity + heavy allocations in Canada, its gonna be tough. My regular shop won’t save any for people who don’t regularly have Darknight on their pull lists. I don’t, so I’m not expecting one. even so, he knows me well so he MAY save me one. SO as a cautionary plan, I will try to hunt one down at another store. I want one to own, not to sell by the way. Its not profitable for me as a Canadian to ship on Ebay (as it’s like 10 bucks, Americans reluctant to buy with obscene shipping costs from CDA….plus the comic is not valued so high that I can make a decent profit). I’m going to be so happy when this 3-D craziness is all over…
Well until, Marvel comes out with it’s heavily allocated acetate covers…. 😉

A surprise conntender is Dial E…a $20-30 book right now, so I’ve been banking and keeping busy. Seriously, the 90s all over again except lower printings. If you manage to get Joker’s Daughter…it’s really hard to not feel like you’re leaving money on the table if you do sell. Deifnitely want doubles to be safe.
@Dakoit, Yea, I’m still in the UK, and I can’t ship books to the US without charging crazy s/h, so that’s why I don’t flip per se! I have limited access to the APO system (through friends), but it’s just not worth it for me.
Good job getting a copy of BF6! I’m just finalizing my 2 full-run sets of the BF (1-20) before the JD book heat’s up. I’ve gotten all of my CW23’s in (I have 11 copies of that). Just by looking around a few CBS lately, and seeing tons of the 3d covers STILL on the shelves, I feel that I can scoop a decent number of JD’s (3d and reg cover) for cover price.
…owwwwww, just got an email, I can defo have 3 copies of the controversial 1:10 Obama ‘Gun’ cover, with an outside chance to get up to 10….Woo-Hoo! There’s only 1000 of those WORLDWIDE!
Anyway, @Comicflipper, yea the 90’s gimmick covers were heavily, mass produced for purpose, but I feel these DC ‘Lenticular’ covers were produced with skepticism even from the publisher. DC remembers the 90’s as well, so they didn’t want to produce a million copies of these covers just to have to eat the surplus when the fans rebelled against them for ‘FLOODING THE MARKET WITH GIMMICK COVERS’! So, that’s why some fans are calling the 25-50,000 print run of these things…UNDER-PRODUCED!
Anyway, back to emailing my suppliers asking for 3d JD’s for next week.
I’ll post what I come up with!

well…it happened. Got notice of cancellation for all next week’s pre-orders. This includes my 3d Joker Daughter. Yup. So…how many of you honestly think you’re going to find a 3d Joker’s daughter at cover price waiting for you in-store on the shelf? What is your strategy? I’m thinking it will be unlikely to walk in and find one on the shelf as most retailers are pulling them. I’d really like to figure this out.
Im very hopeful givin the past few weeks regarding my orders, although im not counting on multiple covers I ordered, but as long as i get one Ill be happy, but ive opened my drawer and saw everything i had ordered before so fingers crossed on this one. Black Adam should do well being such a big player in the Forever Evil story.
Going to be there at opening next Wednesday. Give it my best go.

I think DC NEEDS this one to be solid for bringing her into the universe. So the story better do this character justice. if there isnt any monkeys it should be good.
Kinda think all the stories could use some monkeys. Except jokers, there it would be less Monkeys.

arrive early at the store, do NOT be greedy and try to grab multiples, OR if you just want to read it by the standard ediition before it sells out too. OR just wait a couple weeks and prices will likely cool down online and you can just buy it at less than its crazy peak price right now.
My LCS has a limit of one per person. I plan to get one regular and one 3d. Will try to get a second 3d from another shop. Am going for the Jokers Daughter set.

Yep, my JD set is almost complete. X2 Batman Family #6; X23 Catwoman #23, and now all I need are the 2d & 3d JD’s, and I’ll be set.
Does anyone anticipate heat for CW #22 (JD Cameo) or CW #24 (JD battle with CW)? Just wondering if those books are wort pursuing?

Catwoman #24 i think has great potential UNLESS the print run jumps way up . But at this point i think that might happen as surely every retailer will want way more copies in advance.
Yea, that’s what I was thinking as well @hoknes! It’s just such a well established title anyway. It wouldn’t surprise me if the print run was close to 25,000 anyway. Now that DC is introducing a major new (ok, new 52) character to the DC Universe (JD)…plus, due to all of the HYPE surrounding the 3d appearance of JD, they may indeed jack the print run up on the CW title.
But thinking about it, I don’t really think they look at it like that. Why would they all of a sudden start printing 75,000 copies of CW 24 onward? JD won’t appear in EVERY issue of CW here on out? And let’s face it, CW 1-21 wasn’t ‘REALLY’ flying off the shelves were they? So, my point is: DC surely knows that as soon as JD moves over to another title, the CW followers will reduce SIGNIFICANTLY, so they don’t want to start printing boatloads now, and just be left with the surplus when readers bail on the title when JD is long gone…just my 1p (UK equivalent to 2 cents) worth!
Yea, so I may get a few CW 22’s & 24’s, just to get the whole plot-run of JD vs. CW (NEW 52 JD’s cameo, 1st appearance & Battle with CW).
I’ve just done a quick ‘curiosity’ inventory of my comic stash, and noticed that I only have X15 copies of CW #23. I have to check my purchase history on that, because I thought I had X23 of the CW 23 books…hmmmmmm, who’s been in my stash?????????
Yea, so IF the 3d JD coming out on Wednesday (Hopefully, Tuesday night for me…hehhehehe) is a really good, sound story/plot then ‘she’ will become well established in the DC Universe, and THEN the potential for her back stories would be huge…GRAB THOSE BF6’s IF YOU CAN!
