A look ahead to Wednesday 11/20/13

Another great Wednesday is on tap. Here are some of the books to look forward to this Wednesday.

1. Ben 10 #1– 1st issue of the fan fave cartoon of the same name. Small print run and close to selling out before release. Could be the shining star of the week.

2. Five Ghosts #7– Second story arch starts here. First arch and stand alone 5th issue have been great. If you haven’t checked out this book you are missing out. Great jump on point for new readers.

3. Harley Quinn #0– Harley gets her own series again. Controversy has already come with the suicide theme and suicide naked in the bath tub at the end of the issue. Worth a pick up.

4. Imagine Agents #2– Second issue of the oddball Boom Series. First issue sold out, numbers usually drop on second issues.

5. Rachel Rising #21– A book I look forward to every month. The story is really starting to unfold. TV show is hopefully still in the works.

6. Scooby-Doo Team up #1– First issue of a new Scooby Doo series has a low print run and is close to selling out. Features Batman and Robin, in the 60’s TV-esque costumes (Robin in the green speedo). Oddball and children’s comics can pick up in value.

7. Todd the Ugliest Kid in the World #7– Another oddball fan favorite. Has a tiny print run, is now an ongoing series, and has that TV deal. If the deal comes to fruition, these early issues could be worth big money.

8. Wake #5– Scott Snyder’s Vertigo Merman series continues after a pause. This book rocks and you should check it out.

9. Westwood Witches #3– Great horror series, low print run. Worth checking out.

10. Zero #3– Fantastic story, awesome rotating art, each issue has featured a new artist out of Image’s stable of hot artists.

      1. I’ll be picking up Harley Quinn and amongst other ones.
I picked up some good books this past weekend. Early X-Men & Early Avengers.
Plus I’ll be hitting up the Comic Con this weekend.
