Hellboy, Walking Dead, and Creepy & Eerie flip Idea

So I have been running banners for TFAW.com ‘s big sale they have going on because they had some huge deals. Comics and graphic novels are up to 80% off. Since I am a huge horror and horror comic fan, I scooped up a ton of stuff, much of which is worth the flip.

So here is the idea, these comics and graphic novels all sell for more on eBay than what you would be paying. You could get them and sell them to Lone Star Comics for more than you paid to get them. For example at webuycomics.com they are buying the Devil’s Engine for $1 cash and $1.50 in trade. For BPRD Hell on Earth Return of The Master, they are paying $1.70 trade and $1.30 cash. I think you are starting to see the piont, the books could be flipped for more on eBay or outright sold if you couldn’t flip them.

B.P.R.D. Hell on Earth: The Devil’s Engine #3 Year of the Monster Variant .70 cents
B.P.R.D. Hell on Earth: The Pickens County Horror #1 Year of the Monster Variant .70 cents
B.P.R.D. Hell on Earth: The Return of the Master #1 Year of the Monster Variant .70 cents
B.P.R.D. Hell on Earth: The Transformation of J. H. O’Donnell (One-Shot) Year of the Monster Variant .70 cents
B.P.R.D.: 1948 #1 Year of the Monster Variant .70 cents
Baltimore: Dr. Leskovar’s Remedy #1 Year of the Monster Variant .70 cents
Lobster Johnson: Caput Mortuum Year of the Monster Variant .70
Lobster Johnson: The Burning Hand #4 Year of the Monster Variant .70

Select Creepy and Eerie Archives are on sale for $19.99 and sell for $49.99. Check eBay to see how much they average, but these books almost always are sellers.

The Walking Dead books are a great deal too. They are nick and dent, but if listed properly in auctions, they could still pull in a nice return.

The Walking Dead Compendium Vol 1. is marked down from $59.99 to $11.99, 80% off.
The Walking Dead HC Vol. 1 Sells for $5.99, about the price of a Marvel or DC annual.
Walking Dead HC Vol. 2 sells for $6.99 as does Vol. 8

Remember always be looking out for sales as you can get quality flippable stuff that may not be hot, but worth selling. Also, with any of these kind of deals your results may vary.

  1. I got “The Age of Reptiles” Volume I “nick & dent” for $10 and I can’t seem to find any nicks or dents on it from TFAW. 😉
