When you have a book that sells out on the day of release that is a good thing. When you throw in the fact it already has a tv deal, that is a great thing. Bunker #1 is a great book.
We have been getting messages taht store all over have sold out of the first issue and the variant cover. Copies of Bunker #1 have sold quickly, but there are still cheap copies of the books on eBay, even though most have sold quickly. The book is starting to go for a premium. Copies can still be found starting at cover or less though on eBay.
I case you haven’t gotten a copy yet, Bunker #1 is still available at Mycomicshop at the time of writing this. I have already put in a pre-order for Issue #2 and Issue #3

Went on EBay. Regular edition copies were going for $10 and the variant copies $15 already. My Comic Shop were all sold out as well as other sites I visited. Word travels fast.
It’s a really good read is the best thing though. I never heard of the writer until this comic, so I had to pick up Sky Man from Dark Horse to check out as well as he’s the writer for it currently.
I agree, a really good read is a good thing, however, for flip purposes, I love a book that shoots up in value out of the gate.
Well true, nobody would argue against that! I still believe that a good story plays a huge part in the “demand” aspect of a good comic to flip.
I might be listing the extras I got, might test the waters though, list one of each, wait out some more to see a possible peak in price to dump the rest, keeping 1 of each for myself. 🙂
As of 8 this morning Midtown still had copies of Cover A in stock.
Just kidding. No more.
My store had over fifty copies for the shelf on top of preorders and still sold out despite closing at 2 due to inclement weather.
Thanks for pointing out this comic. Got one at the local store yesterday (only had two copies – should have gotten both). It amazes me this book sells out so quickly because of support yet it didn’t have a larger run. I’m going to head back this afternoon in case they still have the other one still (not many people shop there).
Well, it was a highly popular online digital comic book originally. Oni picked it up for press, now we’re seeing it’s popularity skyrocket even more. 🙂

Grabbed X10 #1 Reg Cover’s & X6 Francavilla Variants…all for cover price!
I burped-up though, as I got excited and grabbed a ‘Villa Variant for $22…..Yikes! I have that one up on EBAY right now…Gotta get my money back for that little gaff. The rest I got for cover though.
Has anyone asked the question of Print-Run Numbers for these books?
I just went back to my UK source for more, but they are all sold out of #1, but have #2 & 3 for pre-order.

Funny, as I had my hands on 6 copies just because Fialkov is writing it, like you said! I guess great minds think alike….hahahhaha
I didn’t get them though, but I’m sure they will still be there tomorrow.

Go search the Internet news feeds for the story of the little 12 year old boy in Australia who was beaten over the head with a Cricket Bat, BY HIS FATHER! The boy died, AND THE COPS BLASTED THE FATHER…HE DIED AS WELL! The mother was there and witnessed the whole thing, and all of the other kids and parents witnessed it too!

My Daughter is a Psych Major, and she has designated me her first CASE STUDY!!!!! YIKES!!!!!!
My son is a Sports Science Major, so he likes it when we can sit and watch the games together (Football (Soccer), Rugby, Cricket, as well as NBA). He likes to ‘analyze’ the coaching strategies and such…enjoyable times for us!
I’m sure I’ll pop in from time to time.

Drewbentley- Fialkov wrote the underrated ‘I Vampire’ for DC. it was an awesome book. I spec’d heavily on ‘Bunker’ as well, and glad it’s a hit. I actually have the book sitting on my desk right now, will read, then flip if the market isn’t saturated at moment (managed the Francavilla variant- not more expensive). Best cover artist in the business right now, and is not a ‘one trick pony’, very talented.

I personally liked his “Last of the Greats” storyline. It’s basically a superman story, but what if his ego got the best of him.

Comixology gave it out during their 12 days of Giving Christmas/Holiday thingymajig which I managed to download but forgot about until they sent out another promotion a few days ago before the print arrived at retailers this past Wednesday, so I downloaded it again to read at work, fell in love, ordered 4 copies of each as I was already set to get both variants at my LCBS to make it 5 each. 🙂

Not yet. Oni said it would be around the print run of Letter 44 #1. So I am basing things off that.
I can still find Letter 44 at one local shop but Bunker seems to be flying off the shelves faster. They even set out a few signed copies for cover price (I budged and bought #1 and #2 signed copies). 🙂

Yup, I think I have 6 x regular covers (1 signed), 2 x Phantom Variant and 4 x SDCC Black & White Variant. I’m just waiting for that TV Show or Movie to be announced to dump some on you collectors.. 😉

Just read the bunker #1… Wow what a great read! so good.. the art is fantastic. I usually spec on books and never read them, but this one is great! I can’t wait for book #2! Already on pre-order.

FYI, I think these are peaking for now but I just sold a 5 copy lot for $70 on eBay. 3 x Francavilla Variant and 2 x Regular. Not a bad flip. I still have 2 of each in my collection if they ever continue to go up in value, will have another set on hand to dump for some quick cash. 🙂

Wow…pretty low print run (10,300+) after being kinda hyped up. Talk to someone from Oni and I was told that the Francavilla cover will be available at upcoming conventions. Cant wait for WonderCon
