My upcoming signing schedule is starting to fill out nicely. This one creeped up on me by surprise. Charles Soule is coming to town to sign for the launch of the new She-Hulk series from Marvel.
I am a big fan of Soule, especially the fantastic OGN HC Strange Attractors.
Needless to say I will have copies of the Letter 44 #1 Phantom Variant and She-Hulk #1 available for the signing. Please email me at apopcomics@gmail.com if you are interested.

The blog is great- look forward to the daily updates
Yeah, he’s currently writing Swamp Thing, taking it over from Snyder after issue 19 I believe. I haven’t read any of them but I’m considering it since I like both Snyder and Soule.
Swamp Thing was a slow start but really picked up.
I was lucky enough to get 3 Letter 44 books (1 regular and 2 SDCC B&W covers) signed by Soule at a CGC SS event…really nice guy and easy to talk to. all books came back at 9.8, so I was very happy.
Nice. And yes Charles Soule is a nice guy. This will be my 3rd or 4th time meeting him.
I love the story behind letter 44, but feel that the art work is holding it back from really heating up like manifest destiny or black science. Maybe because it’s from Oni and not image? But the bunker went bonkers…
I’m digging the art in Letter 44. Hmm.. I don’t think it’s holding it back any. Bunker was huge because it was a very popular digital comic before they decided to print it.
I guess my biggest complaint is the way Albuquerque draws his noses. For the love of schnozz! I think if this comic was hot, you wouldn’t be able to find every issue online. They even have sdcc variants available on oni’s website. That being said, I still do love the premise behind this.
Love Letter 44. Agree about the noses. Spoke to Charles Soule about that today. He said he has heard the complaint but is thrilled with the way the book looks and that he is very happy with Alberto Albuquerque on art. Charles is a stand up guy and I wouldn’t expect him to say anything else.
Did you get to ask him about his future media plans/deals for letter 44? Just curious if there was any movement on that…
He didn’t say. That was one of my first questions
