Thanks to Wiley S. in the comments for this tip and this one is a bit of a surprise. Dredd Underbelly sold out quickly a little while back and shot up in price due to the small print run and the demand, in part due to speculation and in part due to it’s rareness. Well, here we go again.
The book went back to a second printing. While second prints usually have a smaller print run than the first printing, I would have imagined this one might have slightly more due to the demand. What ever the print run ends up being on the second print, it is already selling for $20-$30 on eBay in advance of Wednesday’s release.
Dredd Underbelly Movie Prequel 2nd Print only has a few US auctions/BIN’s up currently and they are already north of the $20 mark. International copies are up as well, cheaper for now.

I ordered my 2 from Midtown for 15% off cover, they still have copies for those that are interested. I can’t seem to find it on mycomicshop but they might be getting it.
Tfaw.com does not list them either.
I just picked up 4 copies from Midtown pre-order, thanks for the tip.
I ordered four from Midtown as well. Thanks for the info or I would’ve completely missed this.
Damn! Went to order 2 more from Midtown and now they’re out of stock. Oh well.
I grabbed 8 copies from Midtown.
Any print-run numbers on this 2nd print?
Yuk, I can’t believe you guys convinced me to buy A SECOND PRINTING OF A BOOK!!!!!!!
Then again, I was only able to get my hands on one copy of the Dredd Underbelly 1st print for cover, then I flipped it for 32 GBP (approx $57) here in the UK, so I was happy about that.
BTW, I don’t see any spek hype surrounding Marvel Now’s DOOP new series, coming out next week.
Peter Milligan (writer) & Mike Allred (cover art) co-created the book, and David Lafuente has the interior art duties. I think I’ll get a few to hoard; I may also grab a few of the 1:25 Adi Granov variants…some already listed on EBAY at around $9.99.

Sorry folks, but I’m ‘sort of’ already in on this one!
I’ve already been active; I’ve got 6 copies of: X-FORCE VOL. 1 #116 (first appearances of: Zeitgeist, U-Go Girl, Anarchist, and of course DOOP)! All for less than cover price, of course!
Additionally, this issue serves as the first appearance of: THE NEW X-FORCE TEAM!
Obviously, with Rob Liefeld’s X-FORCE movie looming, I’m confident DOOP would play a pivotal role in the story.
I personally think this Doop series will heat up, because Doop has traversed through a few of the X-books: X-FORCE, X-MEN, and X-STATIX…as well as an Adjunct Staff Member at The Jean Grey’s School of Higher Learning.
I can get my paws on 6 more 116’s, but I’m going to hold off on those until next Wednesday to see how well DOOP #1 is received by the community.
Ok, it too me too long to type this…I’VE ALREADY PULLED THE TRIGGER ON THE OTHER 6…already got my 12 NM 116’s FLOATING on EBAY UK, just to gauge the interest really. Thinking about it, I probably have them up too early…I probably should wait until after DOOP #1 drops on the community first, then after the SOLD OUT AT DISTRIBUTOR phase hits, everyone will assuredly be scrambling for DOOP’s first appearance, then put my 12 copies up AT A PREMIUM!
Does anyone have any idea about early print-run numbers for DOOP #1?

…Peace!
I have X-Force Vol 1 and X-Static. I am a big fan if Allred so I couldn’t pass them up (both news stand and direct market). Unsure how popular Doop will be.
I have absolutely zero desire in the Doop book or the character.. and I’m probably the biggest buyer of Marvel on this site it seems.. I think I currently read 11 ongoing series currently in the Marvel Universe.. Avengers, New Avengers (I love Hickman), Superior Spider-Man, Foes of Spider-Man, Black Widow, Thor, Guardians Galaxy, Punisher, Moon Knight, Silver Surfer and Iron Man.. I did pick up All New X-Men and X-Men but have since dropped those..
I forgot to say thanks for giving me credit for the tip, so… Thanks!
No worries. I always try to give credit where it’s due.
