What oh what could this Image mean. Imagecomics.com published this image with the tag line “It’s Spreading”.
Could it finally be the Justin Jordan and Kyle Strahm’s series ‘The Spread’?
Of course I being a little facetious as this is clearly what it is. Justin Jordan spoke to me some months back about the series coming out from Image in the summer but asked that I didn’t run it as the book was not officially announced at the time. I kind of hinted around about it. In fact, Justin was kind enough to send me copies of the New York Comic Con preview as I told him how pumped some of the sites readers and I were about it. Kyle Strahm was kind enough to pop by the site and tell us more about the numbers of the preview, roughly 300 copies of the regular version and 30-50 copies of a yellow cover.
The Spread reads a bit like Lone Wolf and Cub meets the Thing, from the preview. It is 100% awesome from what I have seen.

Do you have any of the convention variant for sale?

Your wait is over come July. I am really pumped for this book. Hopefully not to many variants or exclusives. I think I know one store that is probably going to do am exclusive for it.

Looks like they have away a PDF of the teaser in October.
Yes, they released a pdf for the teaser right after NYCC last year. I had posted it a while ago. The full teaser can be read online through Kyle Strahm’s web page.
Ecstatic at release news & just a few months longer to wait to have this highly anticipated comic book in hand to delight in. A few variant editions for this would be Cool, but indeed, no need for over saturation silly season !. Great stuff. Really looking forward to & hoping for huge success 🙂
