I love when a new book comes out on Wednesday and by the weekend is going for crazy money.
In case you haven’t noticed, Invincible #110
, is doing just that. The issue contains the female on male rape of the title character Invincible. Yup, and that has gotten collectors in a tizzy. Copies have sold out everywhere. Online, copies have been snatched up.
Copies of Invincible #110 have sold for $40 yesterday. Prices have settled down to about $25 today. I did hit one shop today and grabbed a nm copy. Will be hitting other shops in the area tomorrow.

Any idea what the print run was on this issue?
I am guessing in the mid 12,000 range based on recent months sales. There was no push on this one before hand so I can’t see retailers going over board on it.
I actually picked up a copy on Friday as well, figured it couldn’t hurt with all the controversy in it. I might have to hit up a few stores today to snag a few more for quick flip profit. 🙂

There was also an early issue that had the first appearance of Nowhere Men. I want to say it was issue 19. The heat has died off of Nowhere Men but it made it a hard issue to find.
If they didn’t have such huge delays of Nowhere Men, it’d certainly be a monthly favorite. If they ever come out with number 7, I’ll have to go read 1-6 again just to know what’s going on.. sigh!
What’s so special about #44? 110 was the first issue I’ve ever picked up of Invincible and that’s just because of the so called controversy it caused (which if you ask me, is not a big deal in my opinion).
