Wormwood Gentlemen Corpse coming to tv

Comic book related tv and movie news keeps coming fast. Granted, some of these will never make it off the launch pad, but there would be a slew of comic related viewing if they did.

The recently put together IDW Entertainment has announced a new partnership with George Lopez and his Travieso Production Company to bring Ben Templesmith’s outlandish comic series Wormwood: Gentleman Corpse to television as an animated series.
David M. Stern of “The Simpsons” will write the pilot episode and executive produce the series with Templesmith serving as a creative consultant.
“We have assembled an incredible creative team with David M. Stern, George Lopez and Circle of Confusion, which will help bring Wormwood to life as a fun animated television series,” David Ozer, President of IDW Entertainment, said.

      1. I am going to see if I can find it locally but I have a feeling that I won’t be able to. I am working on my collection of regular wormwood issues though… I need #1, 3 and 4 of the regular series than I think I have all of them.

  1. Man, I hate when that happens! I ordered 1 of the 2 copies of the taster that were on amazon, and got an email today that said they couldn’t find it. Have to keep looking I guess…

      1. Yeah I like it too. It’s not like your typical comic style art.
I need the taster #0 and issue #1 and I think they are both going to be hard to find for the right price. If you have either or both, and your willing to part with them, maybe we can work something out!
