This one comes to us from our friend Topher at www.investcomics.com. He dropped this little gem in the message section and I wanted to spotlight it.
Some people hate this kind of spec, the first appearance via a preview, but this is a good one because it is a Walking Dead book. We all know that Clone has been picked up for a syfy channel tv show. Whether it makes it to air is another story, but spec-ing on on the first appearance may not be such a bad idea.
First, the book is Walking Dead #103, and if you have read this site at all, you would have heard me say “always pick up two copies of ‘The Walking Dead’. Second, and as Topher suggested, there is a Chris Giarusso homage variant. The Walking Dead #103 Giarusso variant and the regular cover can be found pretty cheap on eBay. Both can be found for under $10, in some cases, with shipping included.
If the show does make it to air, and is good, these could be added value to your collection.

I thought the TV show was put on the fast track now. Especially with Kirkman on board.
Even with Kirkman there are caveats to a show getting on the air. Then will it be successful.
Of all the most recent comics announced Clone looks like it has a really good chance. Clone is a well written series and should translate well to TV. It’s also good for collectors as the print runs are low especially for the most recent issues.
And the writer has tv experience.
