Winterworld #1 from IDW and writer Chuck Dixon has sold out through Diamond Comics Distributors.
When a book sells out at Diamond, it does not mean the book cannot be found on the shelves of your local comic shop, it means that once those first prints are gone, the stores cannot get more first print copies.
Winterworld was helped by the fact that there was a previous book and that the series is being turned in to a live action media event (streaming TV show) through X-box’s upcoming streaming media channel as original content.
Winterworld , a post apocalyptic tale set in a frozen world, was picked up in April by X-box for development.
The Print run onWinterworld #1 was,10,500 copies.

Was the Sub Cvr 1:10 or anyone know it’s variation?
Anyone, anyone? I still can’t find out any info on the Variant ratio. If this was a 1:10, that puts it at the 1k mark which is very enticing, since I managed to nab 3 of them. 🙂
Wasn’t blown away by the first issue. Might pick up #2 this week. Heavy week for books. I could end up with over 10.
It peaked enough interest for me to pick up #2. I wish I could keep my list under 10 at times, my wallet would thank me if I did. I usually hover around 20 or so each week.
Last week was huge. Had over 20 books.

I went to the Paul Pope signing this weekend. He was impressed with the amount of single issues of his books that I had. He said that it was the second largest collection of his work that he has seen.
There is a younger cute girl that works there. She said she could not believe all of his books I had. I told her I am so in to this and have been for years that I bleed four colors. I am like mainlining comics. The flipping completely covers buying new books to hopefully flip b
