There has been a lot of talk about this in the comment section, so it was time to bring it up as a post. The Humans by Keenan Marshall Keller and Tom Neely was picked up as a series by Image Comics.
Issue #1 will be forthcoming from Image, as announced at the Image Expo during Comic Con International. The spec play still lies in issue #0.
Issue #0 is a self-published (I love those words, they often equal $$) comic that can be ordered right from their store. Copies are limited and I expect that once the CHU effect is in place, the remaining copies will not last long.

Over 500 in less than 48 hours would be impressive, around 300 sold in 24 hours. I actually debated scooping up the entire lot last night. I feared I’d be committed to some inpatient Comics Recovery program though with no CHU access.
