Dark Horse's Breath of Bones, a Tale of the Golem optioned

Here is one that I missed when it was first announced, but Steve Niles’ Breath of Bones A Tale of the Golem has been optioned for a movie.
Of course, this is not the first Niles’ comic that has been picked up for a media deal. Thirty Days of Night, would be the first and biggest media deal for Niles, but he has had some small screen action as well.
Breath of Bones A Tale of the Golem has been optioned for a movie. was published in 2014. Andrew Adamson (Shrek, Narnia) is attached to direct. The mini series was a good read and was described as:

A British plane crashes in a Jewish village and sparks a Nazi invasion. Using clay and mud from the river, villagers bring to life a giant monster to battle for their freedom and future.

Breath of Bones can be found cheaply at Mycomicshop.
Breath of Bones also can be found individually and in sets, on ebay, cheap.

  1. I grabbed a complete set on ebay today at accepted offer price of $20 with free shipping. Will be holding onto this for a while.

      1. Hopefully Breath Of Bones gets the kind of movie treatment deserving of the high quality comic book treatment that it received. Lovely looking artwork & very well told & structured story telling. Heaven forbid that it gets the ‘Remains’ shoot & screenplay !. Struggled to sit through that, even allowing for its low budget ‘B’ horror movie restraints. Breath Of Bones is deserving of care & attention.

  2. This was a good read. I picked it up after reading an article on best current comics to read and it was throughly enjoyed.
