  1. Im done w marvel if they reboot again. Its bad enough they went up to 3.99-5.99 a book I dropped alot of marvel titles And aolt of fillers Iisnt worth it to me. Plus crazy tie ins.

  2. Well, this likely ties into their current countdown they have on most of their current titles. It all stated with the “8 Months Until Time Runs Out..”
Reboots don’t bother me that much. I’ll read what’s good depending on the writer and most of their art is top notch.
I just started reading Magneto, I picked up issue #1 originally but never picked up after that, heard it was good, read #2 on Unlimited and was hooked, got the remaining issues when local shop had a %50 off back issue sale.
I still pick up more Marvel titles than DC. I think I’m only reading Batman and Detective Comics on the DC side of things.. I don’t count Superman Unchained since it seems to be on the Mark Millar schedule of releases.

  3. I’m a Marvellite. DC’s reboots and quasi-reboots over the past few decades is what has kept me from sticking with a lot of their books. I primarily stick to the Bat-books, and luckily they weren’t greatly impacted by the New52, but overall the reboots make it difficult to follow what has Actually Happened in the present continuity and what got Erased by the quasi-reboots. It also makes it difficult to read DC back-issues and not be continually aware of which version of the DCU it is taking place in. Marvel has been better about continuity; not saying they’re perfect or that nothing ever changes, but a far cry from DC. I’ve heard the reboot rumors and it scares me. I think I would be dropping a lot of titles.
And considering the Price of $3.99 on the vast majority of titles, Marvel had better acknowledge the Evident Problems with their Cover Stock ASAP. I’ve written in to them many times and never get a response. The covers of the books are damaged before they even reach the comic shop. The ink practically Wipes Off like it’s Chalk, the paper is nearly as thin as the interior pages & arrives heavily creased, and it’s a shame that DC can charge $2.99 for books with superior cover stock, while Marvel would say the poor quality paper is a budget cut to be able to keep the books at $3.99, and that a better quality paper would “force” them to charge $4.99 for the same book? This plagues me week after week… My local shop could get a pile of 50 copies of a particular book and every single copy could be F/VF condition right off the bat through no fault of their own. It’s a shame.
