My big pick of the week is Fantastic Four #642. This might not amount to anything. But its part 1 of the storyline that ends in the cancellation of the title due to Secret Wars. So print runs have been fairly modest for this title lately and there is a cool 4 issue connecting cover variant set that is already sold out at Diamond. 13 Coins #4 from Simon Bisley is sold out in advance with a very sexy cover.
My definite pulls for the week:
Strain #5 (Anyone watch the Season 2 sneak peek preview?)
TMNT Animated #19 (Cowabunga)
Wild Blue Yonder #6 (The conclusion and it took long enough)
Tooth and Claw #3 (Didn’t think I’d like it as much as I do so far)
Rumble #2 (Kelly H. favorite and a pretty good read from issue 1)
Spread #5 (a CHU favorite)
ASM #13 (Pay attention to Spider-Verse stuff, new characters, old characters)
Black Widow #14 (Love the stories and art, very underrated comic me thinks)
GOTG #23 (Symbiote Symbiote Symbiote.. say it as fast as you can three times)
Magneto #14 (Underrated, nuff said)
Moon Knight #11 (Loving it, probably one of the best in Marvel)
Rocket Racoon #7 (Kids love it, who doesn’t like raccoons?)
Spider-Woman #3 (See ASM #13 comment)
Ivar Time Walker #1 (Mention of the week.. )
Burning Fields #1 (Spec of the week, especially if you can get your hands on the Rossmo variant at cover)
Holy F*ck #1 (I don’t want to offend anyone.. )
Only one shop had the Burning Fields Rossmo variant.. way under ordered for sure!
Also ended up picking up FF #642, Cover B is an awesome cover and it makes the Sleepwalker #1 suddenly going hot all make sense now.. 😉

Are we going to see more Sleepwalker in any of the upcoming Marvel films since he played an important role in Infinity War?
Kitchen #3. I love this series.
Goners #4. This was a surprise series for me that I picked up on a slow week. Last issue ended on a huge cliffhanger so I’m really curious to see what happens.
Another big week for me. I really, really need to cut back! lol

Heh.. well, my level went up (instead of down like planned) as well but I’ve also been buying stuff to solely sell as well. My actual reading level has stayed about the same. This Spider-Verse crap has gotten me to buy more titles than I usually want as well, I probably won’t be reading Spider-Woman and such exclusively for too long.
At least the wife isn’t complaining about the increase lately, not when I show her the sales numbers from eBay and the difference I paid for the comic. 🙂
That always helps. “See it pays for itself” works.
For sure. This years goal is to flip to pay off one of the cars (and use some of it to buy more comics to flip) 😉
I flipped bought a car. Bought more. Flipping to buy wife car. I am a simple needs guy so I am good with the new car I bought. My wife will need something a little better.

The sad thing is, I picked some of the higher priced variants that I wasn’t planning on! I got both variants for Burning Fields (but they didn’t have the regular cover?!), two of the ASM 13 variants and the Powers Mack variant (which I thought was really cool!)
I got 1 regular of Burning Fields. I found a Cover B 10 Years of Boom at cover and the Rossmo variant at $8.99, the only shop out of 3 to have a copy but I was able to snag GrahamCrackers last copy last night online for cover price (which I think was a mistake since their Cover B was priced at $6.99).
As for the ASM variants, I’ve been picking those up lately as well when I usually don’t. I’m not letting any surprises slip by with this Spider-Verse story going on.
I paid 6 for B and 10 for Rossmo. I was just surprised to find them!

Spread was awesome as usual. There was an ad for another action figure cover coming soon. Also picked up FF 642 cover B. LCBS only ordered one copy of I, Henchbot and did not order any following issues. They were also out of Lady Killer and Feathers. I dropped Wic + Div.

Rumble 2 is sold out at all of my local stores, very quickley. Guardians #23 was a BIG deal for all Venom fans. I’ll buy 4 or 5 of those. Does anyone know how many variants for that comic?

Magneto #14 – people need to get past this new boxy face looking Magneto and hop on board. Poyo is dead right, this series is supremely underrated. The Axis tie-in kinda sucked, but everything until then and since is UNBELIEVABLY GOOD.
I also got nearly 30 $1 back issues. Cloak and Dagger #1 NM, Warlock and the Infinity Watch #1 NM, Sleepwalker #1 in MINTY condition (yes, another one), and many other #1s in great condition. I’ve been grabbing up copies of Secret Invasion #1s and one-shots as well. If Marvel pushes the Skrulls in the movies or shows I think that storyline would be prominent.
felt good to get back in the groove after the holiday wind down ..found 5 Sleepwalker #1 out and about around NYC ..did some $$ bin diving got some oldies but goodies like Gen 13 #0 and i caught some sneaky joints X-factor 15 which i hope sees growth over the next few months and X force 11..and Batman/Superman #1 the batman cover and 5x Feathers #1 and 5x FF 642 ..and Holy Fck #1…this story is stupid as hell ..im really starting to hate Action Lab books ,its like their being written by 12 year olds ..but if the media catches wind to this then woah ..
