Yeah and that lists doesn’t list the stupid issues I double up on either along with any variants I’m able to grab as well.
I might have to cut a few again or halt on some marvel titles (just wait a few months and they’ll be on the marvel unlimited).
This is the type of week my wife shakes her head and tells me I have a problem. And will ask me if I am selling some of them.
Same here.. I do a lot of nodding and smiling at my wife when she’s talking to me.
Same here my wife will tell me, ” I just don’t get comics.” Or “How much are you going to sell them for?” I love the blank stare, like when I was telling her about Star Wars #1
My wife has tried to read them. I have given her ones i think she will enjoy.
lol @anthony…my wife says the same every week ..she thinks every Wednesday the comics that just dropped are instant quick flips …she has much to learn lol
I’m gonna have to go donate some blood or something.. spent way more than I usually do in the past day (stupid Spider-Gwen Phantom variant, better pay off or I’m quittin and going to Comics Anonymous).. 😉
So with that list, extra pickups and doubles of a few.. I ended up getting 39 comics today. If I count the orders I placed within past 24 hours, I placed orders for 25 other comics, making it a total of 64 comics. I have some serious issues.. I guess I have to catch up to Anthony in the amount of long boxes I have. 😉
And I just realize, I missed picking up Rat God somehow. Sigh..
Forgive me Poyo for I have sinned. But damn. That is a lot of comics for one day.

I’m going to try and stay away from the variants that are more than cover and keep my spending under $50. We’ll see how that goes.
Annnnd $50 was a pipe dream. I did stay away from the variants, though! Couldn’t find EoSV but asked if they could order it for me. Flipped through Nameless but I wasn’t feeling it. I did, however, pick up Lady Killer #2 and Woods #10 and Avengers #41 (they didn’t initially show up on my PullList App.) I really need an intervention. Time to take a good hard look at the old pull list.

Superman #38 – reg, combo & 1:100….I bit into the hype
I passed on the Superman #38. Last time I jumped on the hype on something like this, it didn’t go far. Maybe I’ll be sad but I did pick up Wolverines #2 and #3 for that new character that is getting some attention. I see those as a better long term option than the Superman #38. The only surprise I saw was at the end in Superman… if there’s a new costume, it’s not much different.

Might heat up some but probably not long unless it ties into a major story or something else. It’s always first appearances or cameo’s that retain value for the most part it seems.

Kind of a big week, i guess. Found a comic shop last week I never knew about, it’s been there thirty years, right in the ‘hood. He had at least 25 rows of long boxes on the floor, stacked 6 high. He doesn’t let you dig but knows where everything is. I got a full run of Cowboy Ninja Viking all for cover, early Manifest Destinys too.
Can confirm, Hawkeye 21 did indeed come out today.

Oh man the ending was almost perfect.
Just read it.. I sort of expected that type of ending. I was actually hoping for the “big explosion” and the crazy kids were right all along.. 😉

@Poyo @Tony I definitely have my copy as one of first 3 I will read tonight after work. Kind of sad it is ending but I understand this concept can’t really go on for 30+ issues. You guys think the movie will ever come to fruition? This series would be a great single movie. Side note: speaking of comics going past 30 issues. I spoke with Wes Craig at NYCC and he said they are trying to push Deadly Class to 35 issues in total.

I love Deadly Class as well. Apparently a lot of it is based off of things that actually happened to Rick Remender. How much of it actually happened and what happened I don’t know. All I know is in a huge fan of the character Maria. Insane Latina girls are my weakness. I hope this series gets turned into a movie at some point as well.
I am a crazy Asian girl fan myself. Gogo Yuribari (I think that was her name) from Kill Bill all day long.

Anyone read Postal yet? I think it was quite good, left me wanting to read more. The narrative in it is awesomely done.
I fell asleep early yesterday it’s hard to be an old man. Plus the site was on fire with nearly 10,000 page views it was hard to keep up with everything. I only read sheltered last night.
I was up late, Mavs playing Golden State out in California so I was reading and watching late..
I tried to stay up. Wanted to clear my dvr of some shows and read and play Last of Us. Asleep by 8:30.
I passed on this one, but I was wondering if it was any good. I just read The Dead and The Dying from a week or two ago and enjoyed that quite a bit more than I expected!
I enjoyed Postal, enough to buy #2. Dying and the Dead was excellent.
has anyone seen how popular hulk 92 is on ebay (plant hulk part 1)
and the second print variant cover(which i have ) is even hotter
if they do a movie or something with this story it will be awesome

For the most part, all my comic buying is under my own monthly entertainment money. We established set amounts each month. The rule is, you can do whatever you want and the other can’t say anything if they disagree, since it’s our own entertainment to do how we please. It’s just better that way and everyone is happy.

I apologize if I should know this but I only read like 5 Marvel books and Hawkeye isn’t one of them. What’s the deal with #21?
It’s the final issue of the series. It’s taken forever for it to be released.
I saw the couple comments surrounding that book but didn’t know why. Thank you.
