Agent Poyo's Picks of the week for 3/4/15

Another week, another round of new comics. Last week was crazy, with Spider-Gwen hitting the shelves, comic delays in Austin and other areas, it threw off my whole Wednesday routine.

I heard this week might see delays in my area again, but at least this week isn’t as big as the last few weeks in trying to secure some comics and the few hot variants that were coming out.
So let’s get down to it, what the heck does Poyo think is going to be good this week:

Descender #1 (Image) – It’s either going to be crazy good or fall flat. So many movies and stories have touched this type of story line, robot versus us biological beings that think they have no rights, because they’re just a machine…  Well, so far, Alex + Ada is doing a really damn good job (oh and if you’re not reading Alex + Ada, get the heck outta here already), so let’s hope Lemire doesn’t let us down with this one.
All-New Hawkeye #1 (Marvel) – Another Lemire book? Let’s hope it’s as good as Fraction and Aja’s last round of Hawkeye.
And…  Rat Queens is back..  Oh I how I missed thee..
Honorable mention is:
Con Job #1 (Boom!) – Sounds as if it might be a good entertainment read. From the description: After working the same convention circuit for many years, a group of flabby action heroes, aging sex symbols, and scifi bit players have become close friends as they watch their lines get shorter and their autographs get cheaper. That is, until they hire a cocky new booking agent who offers them their only chance at a comfortable retirement by robbing one of the largest cons in the country!”
