Variant Envy: Spider-Gwen #3 Comic Xposure variant

Sure, I give mad love to the guys at Comic Xposure due to them sending me variants about once a month to give away. Yeah, I appreciate that, but more than that, their variants are good. Here is their latest, and I really dig it. Spider-Gwen #3 Comicxposure variant.

I love that Gwen is walking past the CBGB posters for the Mary Janes. As an old school punk fan I love the nod to the classic club.

  1. As much as I like comics for both collecting and flipping, I hope this is not one of those series that has multiple variants for each issue. If that is the case for the PC I will trade wait, but still most likely get some issues for the flip.

    1. Spider-Gwen will be one of those titles that has variants.. all…. of…. the…. time…..

  2. These guys knock it out of the park with every variant they come out with. I’ll be getting mine!

      1. The Amazing Spider-Man #9 variant they came out with is still one of my prized variants. Alongside that comicsheatingup B&W Enormous variant.

      2. Haha, I’m being dead serious. That is one of my faves. When will we get other site variants?

  3. Yea the guys over at Comicsxposure are definitely making a name for themselves,Keep the great cover coming

  4. I’m passing, I didn’t do to well with my flips on Spider-Gwens, sold one phantom var for $28.99 and that’s it. After lowering the prince again still nobody, took a bite, so now I have numerous var covers sitting on my desk. Took a big bath on these.

      1. Phantom(6), Yesteryear, the error comic kings(2), Skottie Young, Blank Sketch, I listed them right after(phantom), they released and only had people offering like $5.00. I dropped them down to $26.99 for counter offer and nothing, Listed them after that for a few times for $26.99 and nothing. Comic Kings(error) had 11 watching and nothing. Don’t get it, Now the price is getting to the point where I am not going to make a profit. I check to make sure they were list in right place, they were. A mystery? I have made more on Batman #39 Capullo cover than I have with the Spider-Gwen.

      2. I ran into sorta the same thing. I ended up listing them w EotSV 2nd prints and grouping with other variants and did pretty well. It doesn’t help Larry is saturating the market w this homage cover. It was cool w Gwen. Kinda predictable but unneeded w Silk 2. But doing another one for Deadpool is just overboard IMHO.

      3. I would have thought mine would have sold right of the bat, at least more than 1. I don’t know what is up with that? I would have thought they would have done well but for some reason a big goose egg! I still see them being sold for more than what I listed mine at. I have zero neg marks against me, it just blows my mind. Then I think well I’ll try to get some Descender 1 and pussycat 0 copies to flip, and when the order arrives every comic was damaged. Well, guess I’ll just have to see how next week goes.

    1. I sold 8 sets of Phantom variants ranging from $80-90 easily and keeping 2 for myself. The Yesteryear variants I have aren’t moving though.
