Seems like at least one major on-line retailer will not be getting all of their copies of Darth Vader #3 tomorrow. The book may be allocated.
Graham Cracker Comics has sent out an email saying their shipment of Darth Vader #3 has been allocated (they are being shorted copies so other stores can get some) and they may or may not be getting the rest of their order next week. Unsure if other retailers are being shorted as well, but it could happen to others if it is happening to Graham Cracker Comics.
So…
Many on-line retailers are already sold out. The book has sold out at Diamond. New Characters. Allocation notice.
Run don’t walk for Darth Vader #3.

Gotta love these Star Wars fans.. they’re gonna make flipping these comics fun.. 😉
Opinions on the ceiling for the variant cover? How much would you pay for it and still hope to make a profit?
Who knows by Friday this could be up there.

Also allocated at our store.
Which store is that Pops? And thanks for the update.
The email from graham took a little of my soul. Hopefully something will come out it.
Recent price increases are encouraging for speculators. However future is uncertain. Rare for any Star War characters to become hot in comics such as Boba Fett. Higher probability for new characters in Spiderman or Batman comics.
Very true.
Yeah true, but if she makes her way into the animated universes or even any of the upcoming movies (stranger things have happened) this will be a good one to have. Time will tell.
Ebay is flooded with copies now. Regular goes for $10, Variant goes for $50.
I agree with the term “flooded.”
I’m a Star Wars fan, so I wasn’t really considering selling my 1:25 variant I picked up today. I picked up two regular covers that I was considering selling. For a sale price of $9.00–$11.00, I’ll sit on them for a while.
Here’s the thing, who knows if Aphra or the “Dark Droids” will be more popular. The Dark Droids are not on the 1:25 cover.
Just wait then Diamond sends the rest of them to your local shops.. 😉
I got the variant that’s going in collection along with regular cover to read. Might pick up a few more copies when the shops get more but these I think I’ll likely sit on.
