Star Wars #6 Action Figure Variant Shortage in the UK

Thanks to Richard M. for the info.

Seems that there is a shortage of the Star Wars #6 Action Figure Variant in the U.K. Sounds like the chance for an entrepreneurial individual to corner the market.
Several different retailers in the U.K. have reported that their orders for the Star Wars #6 Action Figure Variant have been cancelled and have not been delivered to them from Diamond because of a large majority of the books getting damaged in transit. As a result the damaged copies have been destroyed. Copies of Star Wars #6 Action Figure Variant are reported to be hard to find in both physical and on-line shops and prices on eBay UK have started to rise.
If any of our friends in the UK can help confirm it would be appreciated.

  1. The big UK player – Forbidden Planet are selling them online with no constraint. Just seems its the local comic shops who have suffered (which are far too few..which is sad)

    1. I actually placed an order with Forbidden Planet for 10 copies on release day ( which was accepted ), but then after hearing about the damaged copies several days after I placed another with them for 5 copies and it was refused due to qty constraints, they will prob let you order 1 or 2 copies but anything more gets refused 🙁
