ComicXposure will open orders up for the Blood Red Convention Exclusive 12 PM tonight. THey are not showing up right now, but they will go live at midnight on the East Coast and be available for a very short time.

They also have a code word that will take 10% off the order saving a couple of bucks. The Codeword is “FREEDOM”

    1. I think print run is 200 and they’re selling for $40. I’m debating over whether this has any resale potential. A copy for the PC would be cool, but any more at $40 a pop is a big risk.

      1. Agreed, probably a limit of 1 on these…a risk for sure..pondering buying one…hmmm

      2. Ok, after reading more carefully, I think the print run is greater than 200, it HAS to be. They are only making 200 available during this 2-day sale on their site. I have to believe they have another 800-1300 copies stashed for the con, right?

  3. I thought these were exclusive to Connecticut Comic Con only not to “Conventions” plural as you stated

    1. Yeah I am on the road today so that should have been updated. But yes it is exclusive to Connecticut Comic Con but I would imagine if they don’t sell out they may show up else where.

    1. You’d have to think wouldn’t you? There’s no way anyone is making a profit at that price that bought from the retailer. That’s a red flag for me, this latest version of the variant is starting to sound more like it’s limited to a print of 200 per interested party.

  7. I passed on the RYV since there were 4 or 5 variants of basically the same cover, but I did place an order because of your plug! There are some good books on the site and at an additional 10% off you can’t go wrong. They have a handful of SW Boba Fett #4 action figure variants for $50 .. so $45 with the code and free shipping … for anyone interested.

  8. I’m seeing some bad feedback on how these guys ship books (thin envelope with books just taped to 1 piece of cardboard, not sandwiched). Seems many arrive damaged. Hopefully the Renew Your Vows variants are packed better. My first orders from them, and probably the last.

    2. All my books have been in comic mailers and haven’t been damaged. Now, some have been pretty late (I had to email them to spur them to ship!) and others had two copies in one bag and board, but no damage so far.
