Fight Club 2 #3 (Starting out slow but it should get better as the story continues, unless we find out Chuck just blows at comic book writing and should stick to novels only – let’s hope that isn’t the case)
Batman 66 #25 (Just good fun.. still loving it and this week has a slick Harlequin cover)
Mickey Mouse #2 (For the kids, the 7 year old loved the first one and it was huge, didn’t realize how much story there was in it until I started reading)
Birthright #9 (Yay, after a brief absence, it’s back)
Five Ghosts #17 (Yay yay yay)
Sidekick #11 (It’s my guilty pleasure read.. it’s turned dark, I’m rooting for the sidekick turned bad guy for sure)
Sons of the Devil #3 (Still strong and a great read so far)
Wolf #1 (Picking up cause it’s a #1, I hope it’s good as well.. )
Hawkeye #4 (I’m enjoying it so far.. )
Magneto #20 (Great read.. and Marvel is likely ending it with all this reboot shit)
Punisher #20 (Another great read and underrated I think.. long time Punisher fan, sad to see it end due to the reboot shit)
Enormous #1 (Yay yay yay)
Disciples #2 (Great read.. but I didn’t like issue 1’s ending as much as I thought.. I was wanting a lower build up to some nasty things that are likely to happen)
Mayday #4 (Didn’t think I was going to hang on this long but it’s definitely entertaining – and Midtown must have fans, always sold out days before release online)
Was able to grab 5 copies of Guardians of Unknown #1( Gwenom Variant)….hold or sell? This book has legs !
Someone had sold 300 of them at cover. It was crazy. I would make my money back and hold the rest! House money at that point

I managed to score THREE copies of Enormous #1B! My LCS had 3 of those on the shelf and had a cover A for me in my sub.
It ended up NOT being a light week again when all was said and done. 🙁
Got the Chew Card Game the other day, and it’s actually pretty decent…after tweaking a few rules, we had a good few hours playing it. Would recommend it if you’re a Chew fan.
Thinking of Tony’s SDCC Walking Dead, I got two The Gun #1B in the mail this week, both dinged and creased…it’s always the low print comics!
I heard a few people talking about Rick & Morty on here, so just some info, if you’re looking for the SDCC variants, they should be the Oni-Press website sometime next week I’ve been told.
Pretty light week this week…which is not a bad a thing, just makes you start buying more back issues. Grabbed a couple of Boom Jackpot variants for a steal (not sure how many people know they’re 1:100).

MICKEY MOUSE #2 x1 – Wasn’t planning on buying this but there were only 4 on the shelf and I enjoyed the first issue (it was the RI and it sold for $20).
JUSTICE LEAGUE: GODS AND MONSTERS – BATMAN #1 – I expected to see 30 issues of this on the shelf and was surprised to see only 6. It’s the kind of book that likely made it into a few sub boxes but I was a bit surprised to see so few displayed.
I would have picked up DISCIPLES #2 but the 4 they had on the shelf had decent corner dings and so I assume the rest of the order was worse and will be returned
I read #1 Mickey Mouse with daughter and quite enjoyed it myself. Most of the new IDW Disney books seem to be well written and entertaining.
Midtown just listed next weeks books. If you haven’t pre-ordered, I highly suggest picking up your XXX copy of Sex Criminals (1 per customer limit) along with the polybagged regular cover (they seem to be limiting to 3 per order) as these will go fast with the chance of getting one of those sketch variants.
Beat me to it! I was about to post the same thing. Graham Crackers is up also limited to 3. I have a bunch coming so, if I don’t get one or two sketches, I’m gonna rampage!
I think I’ve ordered 6 online, hoping to snag more at local shops next week. I just hope there’s a way to tell if you get a sketch or not without opening, I’d imagine these might be hot unopened. Anyone have a plastic polybag x-ray machine I can borrow?
I’ve been dumb on these from a spec point of view and prolly spent more on preordered issues than if I would just buy one once they are found… I don’t want to say how many I’ve preordered cuz I’ll be embarrassed if I don’t get one! But I’m a sucker for a fun chase…
I’m curious also if the poly bags will be ‘searchable’…
Yeah, I thought about ordering more but I don’t want to get left with way too many copies that I can’t a) simply sell and b) can’t just dump off to my kids for them to read.
Giving them to your kids would create a very awkward “having the talk” moment…
Weirdworld 2 was awesome! Warbow’s back! He was one of my favorite toys, all I have left is his bow.
Enormous was again awesome out of the gate… Wish they could get ongoing monthly. Anyway, just a heads up this issue might be intro of human baddie… Maybe, have to see where this goes.

Relatively light week. One store had a hand full of both Enormous covers. The other didn’t have any. Didn’t see Mayday #4 anywheres…
Only got to go to two stores today but I did get both covers of Rivers of London for cover, and a copy of Book of Death Geomancer for $15. No Enormous to be found, maybe I will be able to check my other stores tomorrow.
The Gwenom Guardians cover is awesome. Local shop had two on shelf. Snagged them.

Yay! Finally Sex Criminals 11 next week!
I seem to have issues navigating the website on my Android device. I have a Galaxy Note and use Chrome Web browser and every time I hit the back button, I end on a old page. Anyone have same issue or know a work around? Hopefully just a quick fix. Thx Happy Wednesday.
