November Comic Con Box Unboxing video

We have had a lot going on lately. Some crazy stuff. I was going to skip this month’s Comic Con Box Unboxing video but Joe insisted we do it. Plus, we likes to take stuff from the box. Here is this month’s Unboxing video:

      1. Joe likes blind packed figures. Especially the Imaginext and Lego figures. We got him some Minion megablock figures and he got a rare one that was selling in eBay for $25. I told him he could keep it or let me sell it and he could buy more. He said sell it. I did and we went to the store to get more. He was able to buy 4 more packs and got the rare one again. He asked me if I would sell it again for more young flipper is born.

  1. I was kinda disappointed with this months box. It was crammed full of stuff, which was good, but I got the Abraham pop (my least favorite character), my GOT figure was Joffrey, and I don’t care about Rocky. I put the Pop up, and distributed the toys to my kids as I usually do. My wife likes the shirts for sleepwear/around the house wear, so I give them to her (I haven’t personally liked any of the shirts yet). And like you said: mousepad?

I dig the Supergirl variant, but don’t think it’s gonna do much spec-wise (but it will fit nicely in my PC as I have a decent run of mid-2000’s Supergirl comics).

I’ve really been impressed with the prints. I’m not a 007 fan, but the Supes one is cool. The prints from the previous boxes have all been pretty cool as well.

Overall, I don’t see me continuing this subscription after mine expires. I got into it for the BA 12 variants (thanks to your heads up), but the comics since have not done much for me. I know this is sacrilege to say, but I’m mostly over Star Wars these days too so I”m not really looking forward to next months box.

We’ll see, maybe they will win me over yet, but honestly if I decide to move forward with a subscription in the future I will probably do Blindbox because in the end I’m most interested in the comics.

    1. Lol. I am going to do next month’s Star Wars box for the Vader Down variant. After that I am switching to only Smugglers Bounty. I did like the pop but it was not exclusive. The tshirt quality is nice though. Soft Cotton as opposed to stiff. But I am not a fan of the design. eBay here it comes. My son (as you can see) gets dibs on stuff out of the box and some months that is the only reason to get them. I like the Supergirl cover and who knows. I will get killed for this but not a GOT fan. Don’t have HBO so I am missing out and have no idea who I got.

      1. You are missing out on Game of Thrones. Easily one of the best shows currently running. I couldn’t tell from your reaction but the towel is from John Cena in the WWE in case you weren’t aware. It looked like it had you stumped.

      2. It’s worth your time if you ever find yourself with access to the show. I don’t usually go for fantasy but that show won me over. I uh…don’t…you know….watch wresting either. I just know some “people” that do…yeah, that’s right. lol. I did like the shirt you were wearing however! I always love seeing classic punk bands getting some love.

        1. Oh I grew up on punk. I was a fan of Glenn Danzig with Misfits, Samhain, and saw Danzig a few times. He is more metal than he was but still appreciate him. Still like the Misfits, even with all their lead singer and sound changes.

          1. Punks about all I listen to these days. I skew more towards the Ramones style stuff (Queers, Weasles, Teenage BottleRocket ect). But I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for the misfits.

            1. I like a lot of bands. Modern stuff like Pennywise, Nofx, Bad Religion. Big fan of 7Seconds, JFa, DOA, The Business and tons more. But yeah. Have always liked the Misfits, Exploited, Subhumans, the Damned, the bands that got me into Punk as a middle schooler 30 years ago.

  2. I just don’t get any of the boxes offered from any of the companies. I love the idea but some of the stuff is just way too random. I usually see one item such as a comic or a tee I want, the rest is just tatt. I wish I liked them more.

    1. No. That is perfectly acceptable. It’s not for everyone. And to be honest, if you see something you like you can get it off eBay anyway. I like them personally because I like the mystery. It is also something fun my son and I do together. Some of the boxes can be full of crap. Other times they can be full of good stuff. I like junk so it works out for us, plus my son enjoys getting toys every month. Sent from my iPhone
