Comics Picks of the Week for Delivery 2/3/16

Each week hundreds of new comics hit the shelves, each with potential. We pick the ones we feel have the best shot at heating up. Here are our picks of the week for delivery 2/3/16.
The One With The Walking And The Dead
Walking Dead #151– Cannot resist having this on the list each month. Still so much potential for it. If you are looking for a good deal, and a possible spec potential, we know Negan is coming, so that means All Out War, you can pick up covers A-K (11 covers) of the last chapter (issue 115) for $19.73 here.
Small Press Gem
Sanitarium #4– This small press horror anthology has continued to impress me. Issue 1 was put out by another company and was tied to a movie, but the 2nd and 3rd issues read well on their own.
Peek the First #1 Odd ball small press book that looks fun. Promises a scandal on every page.
Mike Wolfer’s Gallery of Terror #1 Adult themed horror anthology. Mike has been around for a number of years, and is local to my area, I always wish him the best.
Small Press Pick of the Week
Voracious #1<img style="text-decoration:none;border:0;padding:0;margin:0;" src="http://rover.ebay.com/roverimp/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5575053800&toolid=10001&campid=5337366000&customid=poyo&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]"- An Action Lab's Danger Zone book. Jurassic Park meats (sic) Top Chef. Looks to be good and will have a very small print run.
I Mage #1– Another Action lab book on the list. This book looks like a great reader. Into a realm of magic and savagery comes a mysterious boy washed ashore. His is a lone survivor. Befriended by an apprentice magi, her quirky mentor, and a metal golem, together they are Kai’s only hope to stay alive long enough for rescue. Prepare yourself for a d20 RPG adventure with an all new twist.
New Image #1
Mirror #1– A quirky story with interesting art. The previews were strong enough to warrant me checking it out.
The Pick of the Week
Kennel Block Blues #1– a very fun, oddball animorphic animal book. Could have legs, Boom has a first look deal in place and would imagine something like this could easily be picked up.
That’s it for me this week. Let me know what you are spec-ing on.

  1. Sanitarium is one of the few titles I have the LCS order for me because they only get a copy or 2 in. I got issue #4 last week so maybe it was shipped earlier than expected? BTW, it’s pretty sick!

      1. I found that out a few weeks ago when Amazing Comics got the Legend of WW before Third Eye did. Steve explained it to me.
