We know Negan is coming, we know he is going to smash heads on his arrival, we just do not know who. Here are some theories and take the poll.
We are going to pick two men and two women who we have heard theories on.
Glen- He dies in issue 100, same issue Negan first appears in, so he is the odds on favorite, unless they stray from the comic like they have done. Hands on (and bats on) favorite.
Maggie- Come on, how sick would it be to kill a pregnant woman, Kirkman sick.
Carol- She has been intense for a while now. I could see her getting offed, would drive Daryl crazy in season 7. The actors did say the season was heart wrenching, and Carol can be the heart of the survivors.
Daryl- Lots of internet buzz that it could be him. Fans would revolt.

like we talked about earlier…Maggie death would be very risky ..may even turn fans stomachs…but there is not enough Gerber for 2 babies in a zombie apocalypse…I vote goes with Maggie
My wife would swear the show off forever. She also says she’ll swear if off if they kill Daryl. She likes to make a lot of threats.
I love when people make threats they’ll never live up to.. 😉
After the red wedding in Game of Thrones she swore that series off. She came back though…She always does lol.

None of those. I think they will kill Abraham the Glenn way.
Also should note that in the comic Abraham does die not to far from this time and so does Morgan.
I don’t think they’ll kill Morgan yet, not since he just arrived full time. Abraham is a possibility though.

Yes, issue 48, her and Lori get caught in the shotgun/gun fire blast when the Governor raided the prison. Yes, mother and baby ripped to shreds.. too gruesome to do in the TV show 🙂

Abraham makes the most sense ..but it would be soooo anti climatic lol
This is why I think it’s going to be Daryl. They need a huge name to die.. these people can’t last forever.. I keep telling people, the only person who is safe is Rick and he’s not even safe. When Rick dies, the show is over. Unless Kirkman sets it up so society pulls it’s crap together to not be savages.. which I think he said is a direction he’s maybe considered.
He dies anyway in the comic. Dwight shoots him with an arrow through the eye. Remember in the show Dwight steals Daryl’s crossbow.
It’s funny cause even Kirkman said he didn’t even plan to kill Abraham in that issue, plans were to keep him around for a while.. it just sort of popped into mind as he was writing the issue where Abraham died.
i agree it has to be glenn or Darryl. major characters die all the time in this show/comic. the glenn death was so shocking and impactful because of who it was. one of the beloved originals. I think the only other person that would have that kind of impact (other than rick) would be Darryl. but I agree. I think that could turn a lot of show fans off. not to be sexist, but the female fans need their heart throb, and glenn is pretty much all they have left. boardwalk empire make this mistake. (I think game of thrones is the only show that is immune to this issue). as popular as the comic is, only a small fraction of the tv show fanbase reads the book or knows whats coming, so I think it would still be super shocking to most people if glenn dies. also, they’ve been teasing his death for a few seasons now. people are starting to think hes invincible.
also, any word on what the shows gonna do about ezekial and his tiger? I feel like a lot of the show fans would think introducing him would be like jumping the shark. comic fans obviously know that’s not the case. I would love to see them make it to tv, but if im being honest, theyre really not that necessary to the story. I think everything could be accomplished with just Alexandria, the hilltop, and the saviors. itll be interesting to see.
I feel like so much attention has been placed on whether or not Glenn will survive, that they won’t kill him off. Maggie seems like the obvious bait-and-switch, but she has a lot of fans herself, and we know how important her character is moving forward in the comics. Carol seems like she’s been through it all by now, and would probably be the *easiest* for them to kill off, and still feel like they’d already spent enough time on her character without losing out on future potential. Daryl would obviously be the most explosive, getting the most attention, and would infuriate all of those fans who think he is the hottest guy on the planet. It would be a risky move, if those fans really tuned-out & protested. Carol is the safe choice, so I peg her as the most likely; but this show isn’t always going with the safe choice, so I’m really thinking Maggie or Daryl. I voted for Maggie in the poll. We’ll see what happens, lol.
It would be more of a surprise if they didn’t kill anyone. I think the killing a character off during the season finale has been overdone for Walking Dead and Game of Thrones, it’s stale and unimaginative in my opinion.
I put Carol because that’s the safe bet if they want to go in a direction other than Glenn, but I could see Daryl get the “bat” as well. From what I’ve seen so far, Jesus looks like a likable character and can replace the affinity people have for Daryl.
