Agent Poyo's Picks of the Week for March 1st, 2016

Is it me or has the last few weeks been sort of slow on the speculative front for new comics? Well, hopefully this weeks brings some excitement since we all know about a Diamond goof that will make one comic a hit (or not, just depends on demand in the long run). We are also seeing some DC Batman v Superman type variants before the movie is released. So let’s get on with the picks shall we…

DC/Vertigo Pick:
Batman Beyond #10 Cover B Dustin Nguyen – Probably the best looking Batman v Superman variant out there I’ve seen so far. It’s already selling out at some online retailers. Grab it if you can.
Marvel Pick:
Black Widow #1 (Marvel) – I loved the last volume. I hope Mark Waid keeps up the great reading.
The “It’s Always Going To Be A Pick” Pick:
The Walking Dead #152 (Image) – With the show back on after the mid season break, Walking Dead is hot again for me and Rick and Company are preparing for war again. Don’t miss out on these, even if no one dies, these all end up being $8-$15 books even when nothing happens.
The Grab It If You See It Pick:
Niobe #2 Cover B (Stranger Comics) – What do you mean Diamond screwed the pooch? Oh, tell us when they do something right. So if you saw Anthony’s earlier article about this goof, leave it to Diamond to turn what was suppose to be a 1:5 variant into a 1 per store variant. Grab them if you can and if you get them at cover, sell immediately while they’re hot. Also, don’t forget to get the Comicsheatingup.net/Hoknes Comics Variant and help support the site.
The Honorable Mention Pick:
Interceptor #3 (Heavy Metal) – I did not know I was going to like this series as much as I do. I am really enjoying it so far. Check it out if you haven’t already done so. It is selling out each issue, and 3 is already selling out at online retailers.
That’s all I got this week..

    1. Looks like SOMEBODY is slackin’ on the job! Tony, you better watch Poyo. Ever since Gwenpool was introduced, he’s been a bit… distracted.
