Scalped in Development for tv.

Good luck finding any copies of this one. Congrats if you have already. It is official Scalped is heading to TV via WGN America
We had mentioned this one back in April of last year.
Scalped #1 is hard to come by raw, but there are some reasonably priced 9.6’s out there. News doesn’t have seem to have effected Amazon prices which have copies for around $42 and $49. Even these I would not expect to last long.

The in-development TV adaptation of Jason Aaron & R.M. Guéra’s DC Comics/Vertigo series “Scalped” has gotten a pilot order from WGN America’s, putting it closer to a potential spot on the cable network’s lineup as reported today by THR.
“Scalped” was first reported to be in development at WGN America in April 2014, and has a pilot script written by Doug Jung, whose credits include the upcoming “Star Trek Beyond. The pilot will be executive produced by DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns. Amid current scrutiny of Hollywood whitewashing, THR notes that the pilot is “eyeing an all Native American cast.”

    1. #43 is first appearance of Earl Tubbs from Southern Bastards. Still around a $20 book on a good day.

      1. There is a lot of consternation on if this is really him, mostly because he has another name, however, Jason Aaron has said that he based Earl Tubbs off this character. Not to mention, it is a good idea to pick up #1 of Southern Bastards if you see them.

  1. They better produce the Southern Bastards show before they put out a Scalped show, im tired of hearing about shows getting optioned and then nothing ever happens. Where is that Five Ghosts show? Or the Breath of Bones movie? Come on Hollywood!
