Agent Poyo's Perfect Picks for March 9th, 2016

Did you find that Brooks A-Force variant? Don’t worry, I didn’t either because who actually reads A-Force? If you’re really dying to get your hands on one, just wait, the hype will likely die some and they’ll come down in price (and if they don’t, well boo hoo).
This week brings a lot more exciting comics and more Batman Superman Dawn of Justice covers, so let’s get on with it shall we?
DC/Vertigo Pick
Suicide Squad #18 (DC) Cover B Tony S. Daniel Variant – Yes, looks like it’s straight from one of the movie trailers, with Batman in his hardcore bat suit that can withstand a Superman punch.. Already selling out online, so nab one if you find it. I must admit, this cover would have been better served on an actual Batman or Superman title though.
Marvel Picks
All New Wolverine #6 (Marvel) Women of Power Variant (which I’m pretty sure Mel will have as a variant pick himself) – Just a sweet sweet cover. Already selling out or already sold out online. I don’t know about the rest of you all but my local comic shops seemed pretty limited on quantities of the Women of Power covers, so grab them if you see them.
Disney Kingdoms Haunted Mansion #1 (Marvel) Brian Crosby Variant – This was mentioned by Tony a while back. Definitely a check it out title as Disney fans will be seeking these out. But the pick is for the sweet Cover D variant, so don’t miss out, this one will be the definite one to grab if you find it.
The Indie Pick
Mars Attacks Occupation #1 (IDW) Cover D Andy Kuhn Variant – That classic feel cover that fits perfectly with the Space Aliens attacking Earth comic title. Lots of Mars Attack fans out there so this one is a must, for such fans.
The Indie Spec Pick
Samurai #1 (Titan) – I had the pleasure to read this already and I really enjoyed it. The art is great, the story is good. With a likely small print run, could be a nice spec for sure. It’s a 1 of 8 but I would love this to be an ongoing.
That’s all I got.. what are you picking up? What are you dropping? Be sure to tell us here or in the Wednesday open forum that always follows…

  1. Oooo! “Poyo’s Perfect Picks”! I like the confidence! Putting some pressure on yourself! I dig it. I really like that Wolverine #6 cover as well.

    1. Ah, your probably right, seems the 1 of 2 was indicating the cover. The 2nd cover has 2 of 2 on it. Good, I was wondering how they would cram the whole story in 2 issues.
