JTC had a post up on his Facebook page about the Poe Dameron black and white Action Figure Variants that go on sale for pre-order at 6 PM and are currently up for pre-pre-order. He will be doing some head sketches to go along with the covers. Check out the details below.
First, for every 50 copies you order (that’s $1000) you get a free head sketch of any character you want on a copy (buy 50 and get a 51st copy free with a head sketch.) Buy 100 get two, buy 150 get 3 and so on.
He is also giving away free head sketches to the 1st, 500th, 1000th, 1500th and so forth.
Wonder how many people will be trying to wait around to hit that number. I will be checking the inventory levels….

Lol, yeah bargin! I’m getting one of these to complete my set of Star Wars action figures, I only buy those covers rather than the regular ones now. Just missing the b+w Luke, which I want but can’t afford, and the b+w boba, which I can afford and don’t want! I have 2 Boba colours, cgc 9.8 ss which I’m holding until disney does a Boba Fett film, it may take years, but it will happen. Surely…
Hehe.. and you could try selling the BW extras, but you might be sitting on them for quite some time. But then again, would be nice to see this character blow up in popularity, maybe the series will help once it debuts, since it is the first Force Awakens series.
I want a Rey title/series. But since she’s new to the whole being a hero, I bet they wait until more movies come out. They don’t want to give too much info away and sadly, I don’t think her life scrounging for stuff to pay for her meal is much of a comic series right now.
Oh and I’m a sucker and already pre-ordered on Poe BW.
After I said I’d pass. Yeah, go ahead and shame me if you will.. I’m weak.
Ha, yeah this whole thing is so done now but I’ve started so I’ll finish I guess! One pre order I have made that I’m pretty excited about is the del otto cinecting covers for batman 50 and superman 50 from bulletproof, they look amazing.
Did you get the regular or black and white?
I got two of each set, 1 to keep and the other to sell to pay for the one to keep! Might make a tiny bit of cash but the postage was a killer.
But I’m thinking batman/superman, movie, del otto, death of character/new role, 1000 print run for a batman comic on the b&w could do well. Del ottos the keys though, especially after what Mel said about his covers being all anyone was after at the big con he went to last week… Anyone else getting on these?
Yes. I know people are. There is rumblings of a rare Del Otto cover for another book. I scooped one up cheap as well.

I also ordered mine for the PC. But wouldn’t pay $1000 for a head sketch.

Also consider Poe Dameron #1 will easily be a 150k or so print run most likely is my guess.

Well yeah Marvel and Disney will get every penny out of this new character. 150k print run will be small I am thinking more like 200k cuz it’s star wars and its a new character that people liked from the movie. Just my opinion.
