The Walking Dead Effect: Walking Dead #98

Tonight’s episode, “Twice As Far” was a doozie. This is mostly spoiler free minus the next sentence. It reintroduced Dwight, more in lines with the comic, and has a burned face.
Dwight’s first appearance is in Walking Dead #98. Prices jumped up after the initial news that Dwight appeared on the show (unnamed) and it will be interesting to see if the coming of Negan will overshadow the potential growth for this issue. Walking Dead #98 also features the death of Abraham, which does not happen on the show. It does feature the death of a character (see issue Walking Dead #121.) There is also a a second print, which should be looked for as well as Dwight becomes a key character, and issue 98 a key issue, as his character grows on both the show and the comic.
