Agent Poyo's Picks of the Week for April 6th, 2016

Hey look, a more promising and exciting week from the last few weeks. I’ve actually stayed under budget the past few weeks (although I did score some Superman American Alien #1 and #2 this past weekend).
How about that Walking Dead finale? Negan finally showed up and it was almost stright from the comics. Looks like all those Walking Dead #100 issues are selling like hot cakes. Now’s the time to sell’em if you got them. Or you can wait, this is a character that is likely going to be sticking around so expect possibly Governor type prices once supplies start drying up. I know there’s a lot of them out there but soon enough, even the variant covers will start to heat up as well.
So, let’s get on with this weeks picks.
DC/Vertigo Pick
Unfollow #6 (Vertigo) – Honestly, there just isn’t much coming out this week for DC or Vertigo. But I am digging Unfollow still, so it’s my definitely pickup this week.
Marvel Pick
Black Panther #1 (Marvel) – Even if your not a Black Panther fan you should at least seek these out. With a new movie coming out in the next couple years, he’s gonna be in Captain America Civil War movie, expect him to get even more popular. (editors note: this book is selling out online TFAW is sold out, this is with a 300,000 print run)
Star Wars Poe Dameron #1 (Marvel) – The print run will be huge but I think they have big plans for this character not only in these comics but in the upcoming movies. This will be his first appearance as well, so pick up a few. Star Wars fans will gobble these up to tuck away, supply will be easy but later on will be harder to come by. There will always be Star Wars fans… there’s new fans being born literally every day and they don’t even realize it until they are older.
Indie Pick
Bruce Lee Dragon Rises #1 (Darby Pop) – Expect low print runs on this book, with tons of Bruce Lee fans out there, once they realize there’s a new comic book based on their hero, these will be gone. I’m a huge Bruce Lee fan, so yes, it’s a must pick up.
And of course, it’s always a pick… Walking Dead #153 hits stands. Are we gonna find out where Negan is after he’s escaped? Is he going to target Rick? Seems to me like he could end up as an ally, but Kirkman has proven that anything is possible.
