It is nice to walk into a shop on Wednesday and get your comics. It is even better when you can walk into a shop on Wednesday and get books that are selling for multiple times cover price by the end of the day. The Fix #1 2nd Print is one of them.
The Fix #1 2nd Print is no where to be found online. It is sold out at Diamond, and copies are already selling for as high as $14.99 as soon as they are listed. Asking prices for copies are now set at $18.99-$24.99.
Nick Spenser has a hit on his hands with this hilarious crime/cop drama. The The Fix #1 2nd Print features a new cover, which most retailers didn’t know about so didn’t order heavy on.

Do you think this has Monstress #1 2nd print potential?
It’s still the day of so its hard to tell but the book is on fire out of the gate. No telling where this will end up. The dog was funny in the second issue. Damn fine read. I don’t think I have actually laughed out loud at a comic in a long while. Like actually laughed.
Here’s to hoping. It is nice seeing comics heat up without media options and it’s just pure popularity by it being a good read with good art.

I didn’t. Seems most of my shops don’t get Creature Entertainment books.. still available at Midtown, all covers.
Oops. Saw the Wednesday 1 before I saw this.
Spencer and Lieber also did Superior Foes of Spider-Man and it was one of the best Marvel Reads ever for me. It was an overlooked and underrated book, so if you like The Fix, seek out Superior Foes of Spider-Man. Awesome read.

I’m really glad to seeing this book is catching on. Hopefully it can sustain a lot of readers going forward because I loved that first issue.
