Another glorious week for new comic Wednesday, the best day every week. It’s when you slack off at work, spend most of your time tuned into CHU to nerd talk with all those other people who share your passion of comic books and selling comic books.
So let’s get on with it shall we?
DC/Vertigo Pick
Future Quest #1 (DC) – Not sure about you but I loved this as a kid, well, Johnny Quest, so it’s a definite check out. In fact, I loved most of Hanna-Barbera’s shows as a kid.
Marvel Pick
Civil War #0 (Marvel) – Sure there’s gonna be a bazillion of them but it’s the next event that everyone will be talking about according to Marvel.
Pick of the Week
Archangel #1 (IDW) – Science Fiction writer William Gibson’s first comic book, teaming up wiht Butch Guice. Already selling out at most online retailers, a definite check out if you love Science Fiction.
Indie Pick of the Week
Black Eyed Kids #2 (Aftershock) – Already sold out at most online retailers, we all know what happens with #2 issues, the print run drops so this one might be harder to come by than #1.
Honorable Mentions:
Manifest Destiny (Image) is back. It’s about time. New story arc so hopefully these start getting pumped out on a more regular basis.
Another possible interesting book is Mae #1 (Dark Horse). I get the Alice In Wonderland type of vibe from this one.
That’s all I got this week. Not a big spec week for myself but definitely some great picks to choose from.

I have probably seen every cartoon with Scooby and the gang in it. I truly think it is an accomplishment.
