The Diamond Comics Advance Reorder List is a great speculator tool. It shows what books retailers are going back to get more of, in advance of their release. They are actually putting their money up betting these books get big. These are the books people are talking about in shops, message boards, and websites. 1. I’m surprised to see the Han Solo Millennium Falcon variant. Everyone I’ve talked to has mixed feelings about it. I liked the BAM! Solo variant out of all of them… or maybe it was the Hastings.
Haven’t read Scooby Apocalypse yet, but haven’t heard much positive about it either. Still waiting on my copy. I’m really interested to see how they do Wacky Raceland. I watched a lot of those episodes and the Laff Olympics as a kid. If they go Mad Max without too much silly it might be good.

    1. I actually thought Scooby Doo was well done. Yes, Shaggy is a hipster douche bag and they call him out. He is also an animal trainer. It’s important to the story. Fred and Daphne are tv ghost hunter types. That had been done in one of the movies. Velma is a scientist. Scooby is a dog that had been experimented on.

      1. I’m waiting on my sub in the mail. With Memorial Day it’ll be really late this week, but I was looking forward to that one. Strangely enough my LCS didn’t have any. I got into the LCS on Friday this week and scored 5 copies of Lois And Clark #8 but there were no Rebirth or Scooby issues.
I actually like the BAM! and Hastings Solo covers more than the others. I’m tempted to pre order but hear those companies can be rough with comics. May just have to get out to one to pick up a couple.
