Tom King Signing Wrap-up

Normally I like to come on here after a signing and mention how things went. I get extremely anxious about the signings since so many things can go pear shaped and you never know what will happen. Thankfully, Tom King is pretty easy to get along with.
I was not able to get as many copies as I hoped, so sadly I wasn’t able to fulfill waiting list requests. I was supposed to get an additional 25, but the store cut me off at 10 additional. I don’t blame them as they went through 600 copies of Batman #1 (most for the signing at that.)
Tom was pretty receptive and signed a large chunk of the books the first go through. I normally do not like to take up too much of the creators times (or people in the line too) so I jumped back to the end of the line and went through again. I had a fresh gold Sharpie for the signing, which ended up having to be switched out for silver and black for parts of the signing. The metallic markers just do not last too long.

I got the Batman #1 out of the window bags and rebagged them tonight (happy fathers day to me.) I also got copies of Batman Rebirth #1’s signed as a bonus and will be randomly putting them into peoples orders. Just a thank you for the support you guys give to the site.

Books will start to ship out Monday and I hope to have all of them in the mail by Thursday at the latest.
