Man, this has already been an expensive week and it’s not even Wednesday! I scored two sets of the Turner variants to Batman #1 yesterday from a local shop that ordered quite a few. Then I got lucky and survived the Aspen Store meltdown to score 2 color and 2 sets of the Turner ASM #15 today.
Tomorrow, I’ll be picking up 3 sets of the Flash and Wonder Woman books and a set of the Detective and Action books plus my usual haul. Oy vey…
I only got the color in both of them. Lol. Good hunting.
Oh, and I bought a bunch of JSC variants of ASM 15 last week too. I’m a sucker for Turner and JSC variants.
Any heat right now on Batwoman from detective comics? Is 52 issue 7 heating up cause thats her 1st app? Have u heard anything ?
It’s 52 issue 11 I believe and it’s about a $7 book.
Its issue 7, exactly! Cheap spec could turn out to be great geoff johns wrote it and detective comics is pushing her , i found it for $3 nm
7 is first Kathy Kane, 11 is first Batwoman
Ya thats what i ment first app of kathy kane, thats whos in detectice comics righht now, i think a lot of people sleeping on that comic , the more the series gets heat, the more peope will realize

nice thing is I don’t feel worried at all by having too many rebirth lying around.
Found a couple of the Justice League #51 error books at Barnes & Noble, and picked up a few back issues including a Powerman #24 (1st Black Goliath), & a run of Scarlet #1-7.
Ordered the Frank Cho variant to Wonder Woman #1.
Went to B&N (Nashville, TN) Wednesday looking for the Justice League 51 error and they still had issue 50 out on the newsstand. Was hoping to score a few copies. Do you know when they update their newsstand?
Monday’s and Wednesday’s supposedly. The one closest to me has not updated their comics in two weeks. Still have 49&50 on the stand. I will email you a picture of the barcode. Take the picture into the store and they can look up if they got copies in or how many they sold.

Doom Patrol #99 1st Beast Boy have been trying to find one for a good deal for about 6months. Sent a buy it now for a third the asking price and the seller accepted. Check that off the list.
Flash #137 1st SA Vandal Savage Another book I’ve been waiting out for a good deal for awhile now. One in a decent condition popped up $43 free shipping buy it now. Sold!

Bought the hulk buster and secret wars mcc funko boxes with the 30% discount. Also got the suicide squad fye 2 pack.
When I first heard about Rebirth I was not interested, and now the last couple of weeks Rebirth has dominated my pick ups. So far the only thing for the PC is Batman, everything else goes in the flip box I will most likely end up with a longbox or more of only Rebirth titles. Two things I will be getting tomorrow besides Rebirth and The Force Awakens are She Wolf #1 and Moon Girl and Dev. Dino #8 act. fig. I stopped reading that after #6 but that is one of my favorite act. fig. covers. I’ll check back in tomorrow with my pick ups.
Please do. I am totally onboard with Rebirth now and was so not interested at the first announcement, but when they announced the creative teams I was intrigued
Scored an epic find this week. Bone #1 first printing. Got it at an unbelievable price. I’ve only seen a blurry picture of it so far….but looks like it could be nm. should have it in hand at the end of the week.

La Muerte was scarce. One shop from the two I visited had them and only around a half dozen copies.
Star Wars Force Awakens Adaption movie cover variants were flying off the shelves.. few non-regulars I don’t usually see were at two shops seeking them out. Grab’em if you can. I was able to nab 2 of each at cover. Sweet baby jeebus..
Flash #1 sold out at one shop, other shop had about a dozen, no one seemed to be going for them but most of the regular morning crowds aren’t huge DC people it seems.
Isn’t it interesting how things go shop to shop? At my LCS there was a stack of La Muerte, a HUGE stack of Force Awakens, no one was touching them, and surprise, surprise, NO Rebirth titles. Biggest crowd I’ve seen yet in my LCS. The guy behind the counter told me rebirth was basically selling out before he opened. He got over a dozen new hold slot requests. I really wonder if the craze is going to be there in another few months or by issue #5.

I’m still in awe how busy it is every Wednesday. But there aren’t a lot of alternatives in my neighborhood.
Yeah, I figured most shops ordered heavy on Force Awakens. Lots of Star Wars fans will be out seeking those.
Just got back from 2 lcs and not many Flash # 1 to be had there. Was able to get 3 copies at one shop and 1 copy regular cover and 1 copy cover b(which owner said was less available to order) This may have been under ordered…who knows?

On the weekend I was able to snag 2x Superman 52 and Batman #1 Variant, all at cover.
Did anyone else’s shops get Dredd Dust #1 today? One shop had one copy. I didn’t even have this on my radar. Midtown didn’t even have it listed, it’s currently listed as “Available Soon”, usually if it’s in pre-order/delivery status but they can’t order anymore.
They have Dredd Dust #2 listed for next week at Midtown.
I was able to snag the one copy but now I”m thinking, is this one going to end up like Dredd Underbelly? Where it flew under the radar and is impossible to find.
The two best comic shops in my area have both been way busier the last month. Most every Rebirth title is gone within the first day or two of hitting the shelves. Flash was basically gone and I got there an hour after they opened. My pickups this week:

I’m curious if anyone saw copies of “America” on LCS shelves. It was pushed back several times, I thought yesterday was release. Didn’t see it at any stores
Nope. Did not see any.
I wasn’t seeking it out but one shop had 3 on the shelf, so I nabbed one. Other shop I visited had none.
This week i grabbed Flash reg x3 var x3, WW reg and var, Detective reg and var, Awesome Hulk, Carnage, Lucas Stand x2, Joyride #3, The Fix #1, #2, #3 and a 3rd print of #1, Fear and Loathing #1 sub cover, all from my LCS’. Also got an ASM 654.1 NM for $20 CDN (needed/wanted it for my PC to go along with my 654), found it sitting on the wall of a new LCS I visited this week along with a Lois and Clark #8 and a Batman Rebirth reg at cover on the shelves. Lastly I got a Flashpoint Reverse Flash #1 NM for $9 CDN.
