  1. I always wait. A local shop usually gets most of the variants and sells them at cover. The mass produced copies I’ve never moved on the secondary market.. I only buy if I like the cover.

  2. Yeah, any comic shop has access to these variants through their diamond account. They tend to be available in such large quantities that they stay green on the order screen in damn near perpetuity. It’s why they tend to be the worthless ones. The store I managed when I was in college, I would order heavy on these to offer them to customers. The three years I was ordering I never saw one of the books available for order in diamond previews do anything crazy. Still, great for shops to make a buck since they can offer “SDCC exclusives”.

      1. “More of these available than toilet paper”… stupid fingers type too fast for my own good!

  3. Won’t be going to SDCC this year ether. It seems that every year it gets harder and harder to buy. And the local craigslist people want $200+ for a 1 day pass. So yeah. I will try again next year and see what’s up. But there is an exclusive AF that I want for my wife’s Harley Quinn collection and will only be available in the convention center. So if anyone is going to SDCC and what’s to get me that figure let me know.
