Thanks again to Brian Springman for this.
Hillbilly 2 is a book to watch. It is sold out at Diamond. This book could be the perfect storm for heat.
It is the second issue so it will probably suffer from the second issue slump, where the print run decreases. Add that to the fact the Final Order Cut Off happened before the first issue hit the stands. So retailers did not know that the book would sell well, and out in some places, and Hillbilly #1 did well on line for a while. Because of the success of the untested new book, retailers probably didn’t order high on the copies of books when they placed their order. (Kind of the Prefect Storm for Spec)
Online shops started to list their pre-orderable books for sale. Midtown sold out of their 200 copies listed on their site within minutes (well 60-120 minutes). Needless to say
