Mel had the Tommy #1 Glow in the Dark variant on his Variant picks of the week. We got an email from Creature Entertainment’s John Ulloa in reference to this one. In the email, John mentioned that only 100 of these covers were done. The Glow in the Dark cover had about 100 copies printed. Of those printed, only 40 of them went through the glow in the dark process and went out through Diamond. The rest were sold at conventions with out the glow in the dark. So, that is it. 40 copies ordered of the glow in the dark cover. Keep an eye out, or ask you local comic shop if they got these in, especially if you like rare indie books.

That’s crazy and thank you for the information. I was able to grab one from Midtown that’s supposed to ship this Wednesday. Fingers crossed it actually goes out. That’s a crazy low number and I really enjoy reading this book!
I called every comic shop in my state when I got the email and no one, no one, ordered one.
I’m going hunting for this tomorrow. If I find it I’ll let you know. Very sweet Misfits homage!

Nah, I ordered 3 but it looks like they screwed me. Just got my mail now and there was only 1 of the Glow In the Dark and 3 of the 2nd print Tommy #1. The Glow In the Dark were one per order, but the other 2 orders also came and still only the one copy.
Sigh
Outta 40 I guessing midtown got 15 12 for online and 1 per store

Well BrIan, Jon had told me that only about 100 of those white 2nd print covers were printed also. So it’s still pretty rare.
Received shipping update from Midtown today. My glow in the dark is marked as shipped so I’m very happy.
Got the one I ordered from Midtown. The ‘glow’ application looks hand painted on. Good looking book!
Don’t know how, don’t know why, but I walked into a little out of the way comic shop today, and there it was on the wall. $9.95, now im my PC!
