Changed how I buy new comics i put in preorders 2 months in advance, this will be the first month I get an advanced order for the whole month so I know I have a ton of Harley and Suicide Squad, I think Silk and Earth 2 society have 1st appearances going on this week as well I know a couple copies of those are in my order. Preordering 2 months in advance can save big money. Also with the devaluation of the pound thanks to brexit I actually saved $5 due to this on a UK order that was recently charged but purchased in advance lol…Might be a good time to hit up EU eBay to take advantage of this money devaluation.

I’m still into it, and this issue concludes the 2nd arc so hopefully it will stick the landing as it did with the first arc.
Looking forward to Lady Killer 2#1, the first series was excellent.
Trying a new LCS, this will be my first week of orders, hoping it all goes smoothly. My old shop had begun missing books.
Last week I came across a box of comics for a buck apiece at Goodwill. Daredevil #181- nm!
Nothing else in it, but no complaints!
Another good deal was an order I placed with Chapterhouse Comics from Canada. I’m on their email list, and they were running a weekend sale for 25% off your order. They have pretty much every issue in stock including variants. I know, not much spec on Captain Canuck, but hey I like the character!
Anyhoo, they have a special on a Crimestoppers Special set, 3 variant covers (1000 copy, 500 copy sketch, & 500 copy blank cover, plus the 2014 Canada Day special. All 4 signed by creator Richard Comely for $9.99 in USDollars. Today the books arrived, they also sent a signed copy of Archives #1, and a postcard set, a magnet, & a club card. Since I had the 25% off, it was only $7.50 for 5 signed comics & some accessory stuff. The cover price on the variants was $7.99 each!

Been wanting to asking this so I figured this is a good of a place to ask. Has anyone had any success selling on the the comicmint website? I listed a few comics but haven’t sold any the past month
2nd question, what Harley Quinn #1 Variant are people getting? I ordered the Francis Manipaul (sp?), ArtGerm (Stanley Lau) and Ashley Witter variants. And whatever I see at my LCS.
I ordered 10 of the regular and 10 of the variant. I am picking up several Third Eye Variants, got the Aspen, and several others. Cannot even remember all that I ordered now, my wife is going to be annoyed
Man, you are all in on Harley Quinn. I’m scared to death the market is going to be over saturated with all these variants.
Alana inspired me to get some. even if I sell them at cover price I double my money since I got them at 50% off.
Hey anthony, got a 9.2 cgc , would u risk opening it to get signed then have it regraded ? What are the chances it comes back with a lower grade? Have u seen this from experience from urself or happen to others?
Or just fork out the money for another raw copy and have it signed and graded?

Send it in with the label. Which book are you talking about by the way? If it is handled by cgc or CBCS you can send the label. You could also have it pressed before signing to potentially get a better grade.
Its dc comics presents 26 cgc 9.2, but im not good at these things and im
New to it so i was gonna take it to the con and have them
Help me crack it open if possible. But i wasint sure if by opening it just to have it sign and regrade it was worth it. I really dont want it to drop below 9.0, so I wasint sure what the chances were that it would come back below that. I guess i can send in the label with it hopefully that will keep it at a 9.2. Wasint sure if shelling out the money for another high grade raw copy was the better option
If a cgc witness cracks it open has it signed and submits it with the label it should come back exactly the same grade.

Selling the Puddin variant, one pink Dell Otto, 2 of each Witter cover over time, the extra color Dell Otto and color Turner. = all the rest of the books already paid for before I sell any regular covers and a ton of cool variants for my PC

Hey guys – my local comic shop had about 50 of the Young Animal DC ashcan promos for free at checkout. I grabbed several and they didn’t care. I’m trying to decide if I should list them now or wait. They were doing $50 at SDCC but now are $19.99 BIN. I have NO experience with ashcans – do you all think it’s a good long term hold – or should I list these now.

Pretty small week for me:
Invincible Iron Man 12: read an advance digital copy of this last night. Anything spec-worthy? Not really. We’ve already been introduced to Riri. We’ve already seen her Mark 44 suit. This is just where Riri meets Stark. I’ll grab one copy anyway, but I don’t think any more spec-worthy issues will come until we have a name. Once we get that splash-page with a speech bubble exclaiming “I’m the I-Ron Butterfly” we won’t have another “first” contender.
Harley Quinn 1 Sienkiewicz variant: I already have Jetpack Comics’ awesome Ben Oliver variant and the woeful remnants of that Aspen snaffu-the “Hatless” variant, but this Sienkiewicz is too good to pass up.
Suicide Squad Rebirth 1: You’d be silly not to.
Batman 4.
I need to see if I can make up for lost ground on the Hillbilly front. I’ll see if my LCS happens to have a 1 lying around. Hopefully, the other shop-goers were as clueless as I was.
On the back issue front, there is a healthy stack of Star Wars Dark Horse issues from the $1.00 bin waiting for me! X-Wing Rogue Squadron, take me back to the 90s, please!

I was told by two different lcs’s that the east coast got Hillbilly 2 this week; west coast stores get them next week. I found only one store that ordered enough Gang of Harleys 4 to qualify for the Cho variant. I was also told that the store will not order enough Harley Little Black Book 6 with Lobo to qualify for the Bisley cover.
