What up Chu? Mel V back with another round of variants. It looks like the variant game is starting to pick up a little bit of steam in the ending months of summer. I got some nice looking ones on deck this week so lets get into the get into.. but before that, I want to give a shout out to CBSI’s Matt DeVoe, it was a honor to talk variants and comics in general with you last week. A-Force Vol 2 #8 Cover B Variant Rahzzah Black Panther Cover – How isn’t this a higher ratio variant …this cover is dark and very dynamic ..love it
All-Star Batman #1 Cover E Variant Jock Cover – another home run by Jock and again i’m surprised this isn’t a higher ratio cover..but that’s good for the wallet and the PC that these amazing covers are cover price…This may make it to a shirt coming to a Baltimore convention soon
Spider-Man Deadpool #8 Cover B Variant Tradd Moore Black Panther Cover – ‘ not sure about what it is about this cover..something is drawing me towards it though…I like it alot
Jim Hensons Labyrinth 30th Anniversary Special #1 Cover C Incentive Mike Allred Virgin Variant CoverJim Hensons Labyrinth 30th Anniversary Special #1 Cover C Incentive Mike Allred Virgin Variant Cover – Another 80’s legend gracing a comic cover the late great David Bowie ..the Lea Thompson Howard the Duck #9 was a hit in the aftermarket ..this is looking like a repeat as its doing well in presales on the bay already. This one could be tough to find ..lets see how it shakes out
Sons Of Anarchy Redwood Original #1 Cover C Incentive Brian Level Tattoo Board Virgin Variant Cover – Could be a Sleeper of the week ..fresh new SOA story …SOA fans that are collectors could make this one highly sought after ..keep an eye out

I was not going to get the Tradd Moore Spider-Man/Deadpool variant but 1) That red background drew me in and 2) It was cover price! That is a funky cover and the color makes it more awesome.
Just to brag, I was able to snag two of the Allred Labyrinth 30th Anniversary Special #1 at cover.
I was also able to snag two of the Fiona Stables Accused #1 variants as well at cover. Today was a good comic book day. š

Yeah, I haven’t checked sold listings yet to see how they’re doing.. but yes, one to sell, one to keep since Wife is a big fan of Labyrinth.
