Totally Awesome Hulk #22 is out today and doing very well. Why wouldn’t it, it features the first appearance of Weapon H, a Hulk Wolverine Hybrid. These guys have been great together since Incredible Hulk #181 (yeah, I know, Wolverine met Hulk in #180 too.) But what if the first appearance of Weapon H is not in Totally Awesome Hulk #22 but an earlier comic?
As speculators, we always want to find the first appearance of hot new characters. Here is the first Hulkverine. Secret Wars Battle World #3
He shows up right on the cover. The story features an at-peace Wolverine who has to go on and fight berserker Wolverines. This includes the gamma irradiated cross of Hulk and Wolverine.
There is also a James Stokoe 1:25 Variant but he only shows up in the story and not on the cover.

Place your bets now on how long it takes Bleeding Cool to steal this news as their own…..
Give or take about two days lol
It’s not weapon h so it can’t be weapon h first appearance.
Weapon H is Grey has spikes on his legs and shoulders. Also hulked out heroes has a hulk/Wolverine before this book.
Did you see the Hulked out heroes one? I have mentioned that one before, but it was basically a werewolf.
My comments disappeared, this is not weapon H
Do not know why your comments disappeared. I am saying it is a Wolverine Hulk Hybrid (not the god awful Hulked Out Heroes Hulk).
Still a bunch of these on Amazon…. Some pretty cheap… So, take yer chances.
Looking on Ebay, one of these (regular cover) sold for $20… Another has a bid of $9 with days left and a few more with BINs from $15 to $20…and still a bunch on Amazon for $4 to $6 in “new” condition. I picked up a few on Mycomicshop for $3 a piece and one variant on Ebay for $8…That’s about it for me. Low risk with the low prices. If it keeps heating up great..If is goes cold, no big loss…but now might be the time to pick up one for the pc just in case if you don’t have one already.
Yeah I got a couple at 2.70 each
Will be interesting to see if this book catches on or just fizzles….So far CHU is the only place I have seen a write up about it.
The info is right from their email so it is out there.
