Spoilers: Dark Nights The Batman Who Laughs Gives Secret Origin on Joker/Batman Mashup

Dark Nights, the Metal series of one shots, has been putting up some awesome back stories of the Alternate/Evil Batmen. The Batman Who Laughs is the ultimate chapter in these origins. The story is great, and gives the gory details we want to see. Images following are spoiler protected. Click the spoiler warning to see the spoiled images. No good Batman story ever starts off without a battle with the Joker. Looks like this Joker knows Batman’s identity.

Joker has been on a tear, destroying the city and Jokerizing….

Batman has had enough and takes matters into his own hands.

But in doing so, released something more….

Afterwards, Batman is training the Bat-family hard.

Batman gives the inside scoop. And shows how Joker’s legacy continues.

The Bat-family thinks they know why Batman is training them so hard.

They think they are right…..

But are so wrong….

Justice League feels the path as well.

Batman gives a little backstory on Damien becoming a Bathound and has a surprise for Superman.

We also get a peek at how the other heroes have changed. Superman here…

Overall, this is a sick issue that gives an awesome look at the back story of the Batman Who Laughs.
